Edwards is getting drunker on his power by the day. Now we're up to 2 pressers a week, trotting out doctors that know absolutely nothing about infectious diseases, and asking people to rat out their neighbors.

That data is about useless. None of that is adjusted for day of test/death

Do you even understand what you are discussing here?

The numbers people are quoting here are coming straight from the source. If they have different data they should publish it or at least say so. Until then we have to assume the data provide is correct. This data says what is being quoted now is incorrect.

But we know you just believe whatever the government tells you. Damn the data and damn the math.

The daily thread is just newly reported cases & tests. Could be for a day ago or 3 weeks ago.

The LDH goes back puts the tests to the days.

But hasn't done so for a week.

Alright, true, there has been that lag that doesn't get posted.

I assumed they were doing that to account for delays in testing.

And @LouisianaGov says we approximate that there are 38,000 active cases of #COVID19 in Louisiana right now. That’s a higher number than we have ever had before.

So if we're almost 50% higher on positive rate today compared to what they post daily, where are all the days that must be significantly lower that we were still shutting things down?

That's misleading. We have never tested this much before.

So I will again ask why are they putting out conflicting numbers?

They aren't.

They publish all the data that was reported to them every day. Increase in Tests/Cases/Death/Vents/Beds.

Then they disperse that data by date of test/death.

and about 36,000 probably have little to no symptoms at all.
