Call right now, you'll get right in.

Our show today is sponsored by, Bistro Orleans. Causeway and West Metairie Rd. This quaint little place has really good oysters and they do the New Orleans originals.

I've been thinking of moving to BSL. I have been spending a lot of time there recently. Getting tired of NOLA. Just gotta research more of the fishing to see if it will work for me.

Loaded with founder in the Bay.

Jordan River is great for skiing.

You can get offshore easily from the Bay, too.

I grew up in Biloxi and have been to the other places listed and I'd choose the MS Gulf Coast every time. Everything that I value is within a 90 minute drive/boat ride/radius: NOLA, MS hunting and offshore fishing, islands, AL eastern shore/beaches. If I need to visit a larger city, I have three airports nearby.

ETA: and if you'd like to avoid storm surge and live in the sticks, but still enjoy the proximity of what I listed, that's only 15 to 20 minute drive north of I-10.

The Ms Coast is very nice

Great food
Great fishing
Great people for the most part

You can jump on I10 and get to a lot of vacation places pretty easily

Of the 3, I'd go MS Gulf Coast even though I'm not particularly fond of any.

MS is a terrible state full of big-government Baptists who want to impose their version of Sharia on you. If you have to live there, definitely the Coast. Madison is full of plastic Ole Miss types and is very cliquey. Southaven / Olive Branch / Hernando are boring bedroom communities of Memphis.

Pretty spot on about Jackson. People here are so clique-ish. They act like they are in junior high.

the cliqueyness makes me think North MS may be better, since I'm not even from here, the Lewisburg school district is the best in the state too apaprently

Mississippi coast for sure. Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian are really cute little beach towns only an hour from New Orleans. I'd set up there if I could somehow live near the beach and not have too far of a commute.

And desert wastelands, apparently.

I've been living in Biloxi for 7 months now, and love it. No traffic, I pay $680 to live on the beach, I can ride my bike all over.

I've been to Phoenix twice, ate fish in 3 different restaurants. I got sick every time. I can't live in a place where you can't trust cooked fish.
