So it is not OK to expect that what is supposed to be a really nice grocery store have fresh product on the shelves?

No, you should have to smell the spoiled produce and meat when you shop there.

First of all

And second, yes you should look at the product, but the product shouldn’t be spoiled on the sales floor. That’s a huge no no.

I was in Rouses yesterday on Juban. There is no burrito bar there so it must be a personal feud with izzos that kept them out.

If I had to pick between Rouses and Izzos, it's Rouses in a landslide.

That will ruin a brand very quickly.

I miss LeBlanc's

Went by the one on Drussila this morning to go to Mary Lee's. Parking lot looked like a dump site. Used to get breakfast every other day at the Leblancs. Stopped going since Rouses because they removed bacon from breakfast bar and some days they didn't even have the breakfast bar. Place went down fast.

Oak Point is the bees knees.

Rouses’ suppliers in Baton Rouge suck arse. Leblancs was part of AG and the products were quality. Rouses is not a member of AG because of a pissing match some years ago so they have a different supplier who doesn’t seem to care that the quality has taken a large drop.

Rouse's produce, meat, seafood, etc is much better than AG stores in Ponchatoula, Covington stores

Walmart runs every decent grocery out of business undercutting them with crap quality products.

Amazon is about to wreck their party.

I'll throw a party if they can get Walmart closing stores.

More than likely they'll get Walmart delivering fresh groceries, which will eliminate the need to go into Walmart.

Yep. I'm done. Bad meat 3 times.

I've had a similar experience. And it's not much cheaper than Whole Foods/Fresh Market/Target which are all much closer to my home.

I don’t know anything about the litigation or the parties. But reading over the docket sheet, it looks like Izzo’s case is hanging by a thread.
