According to Ford the new Bronco will unfortunately not be 2dr. The good news is the F150 is getting a diesel.

Make sure to visit the houses during the weekend and at night when everyone is home. See what the neighborhood is like when people are actually there.

I don't think people in Sorrento should be casting stones about other people's police department.

Before the lay off, I had to sometimes fly into L.A. to get to Bakersfield. Frick L.A. Unless you are staying there for awhile, the traffic is terrible. Always, always, terrible and none of those people know how to drive. I would suggest flying into San Fransisco and doing a day there, going to The Winchester House in San Jose, then heading to Carmel. Monetary is nice (I did some kelp dives there) but nothing special. Morro Bay is cool. It is were Birds by Alfred Hitchcock was spent and like a West Coast Grand Island. The cool thing is that you can watch the sea lions in the water. Hearst Castle is really awesome and not to far from the coast. Paso Robles has nice wineries and Santa Barbara is a scenic city. Los Angeles is cool and has a lot of neat stuff to do but it takes so long to get anywhere. LAX has to be the one of the worst airports. If you can do San Fransisco to San Diego, it will be a much better trip. San Diego is nice and the airport is quick to get in and out of.

The greatest thing I ever witnessed was when a Happy's runner almost got arrested. He beat on a guys hood that had a green light and told him to frick himself. The cop pulled him aside and said and chewed his arse out. Frick Happy's runners.
re: Men who wear suits everyday..where do you buy them?
Posted by scubachris on 9/10/15 at 5:22 pm to trom83
Go for quality over quantity. A good suit made from quality material will last you longer than a cheap suit. If you grab the material and it springs with minimal wrinkling, it is a quality suit. You can get by with two suits for a week if you change shirts and ties and buy more pants. 1 suit=2 pairs of pants that match your suit. When you make for money consider getting a custom made suit.
re: recommend me a revolver?

I've got a Colt .357 Trooper, .38 spl. Colt Cobra, Smith and Wesson Model 49, and Model 57 in .41 Mag.
Model 49 is pretty harsh to shoot but it is very concealable.
Colt Cobra is very fun to shoot and not as concealable but it holds 6 shots unlike Smith 38s.
Colt Trooper Mark III is also fun to shoot. I usually use this if I a bringing someone out who has never shot. It can shoot .38 spl. and is heavy so it doesn't kick as much.
Smith Model 57 is a hand cannon. Fun as frick to shoot but ammo is expensive.
The only one I bought new is my Smith Model 37. Everything else was used. If you are looking to purchase one, remember that the trigger pull is going to be heavier and always have a gunsmith look over a Colt. They get out of timing real easy. TBH, I like Colt but they are kinda finicky. If getting a new gun, I prefer Smith over Ruger just because I like the old revolver look. You can go to Smith and Wesson and look at their classic line of guns. I'd stay away from the alloy guns because they will not be fun to shoot. In fact they are painful. It will take some getting use to going from a Glock to a revolver because of the trigger pull is heavier.

Maybe you should ask for a pension? I work in the private sector and am not union and I have a pension. Most super major oil companies do and I can either receive a lump some or a "pay check" plus my 401k. The promise with government pensions are that they are often mismanaged.
re: Downtown BR Bar Inventory/Needs - IMO

We don't need anymore bars downtown but we do need good restaurants. Jolie Pearl and Little Village are the only nice consistent places to eat. Poor Boy Lloyd is good but closes at 3 on the week days. As someone who live downtown, I want more places to eat.
Frankly, I hope The Office moves to Livingston Parish and City Bar opens in Port Allen so they can keep the trash over there.

I agree with you but the idiots who run companies now want everyone to have a college degree. Buddy works at Hess and he said his boss only hires secretaries with college degrees.

It all depends on what kind of soap/cream you use and how you prep your face. West Coast Shaving has a sample pack that you can get so you can try them out.
Safety Razor Blades
Started out using Derby and graduated to Feather. I also started using better soap

As a deputy sheriff, Roosevelt pursued three outlaws who had stolen his riverboat and escaped north up the Little Missouri. He captured them, but decided against a vigilante hanging; instead, he sent his foreman back by boat, and conveyed the thieves to Dickinson for trial. He assumed guard over them for forty hours without sleep, while reading Leo Tolstoy to keep himself awake. When he ran out of his own books, he read a dime store western that one of the thieves was carrying.[45] On another occasion, while searching for a group of relentless horse thieves, Roosevelt met Seth Bullock, the famous sheriff of Deadwood, South Dakota. The two would remain friends for life.
