Shut your whore mouth. Rouses is the goat. After driving through Br yesterday you people have no room to talk about anything. Learn how to use your fricking blinkers!!!!

That would explain a lot considering we’ve had problems with bad meat from Albertsons too.

Yep. I'm done. Bad meat 3 times.

We had a Rouse's about a block away from us before we moved to Texas. I now shop at Kroger, Randall's, and HEB. Except for HEB just being 3x's as big, the quality here really isn't all that different from the Rouse's. Seems like Baton Rouge locally has a problem.

We now shop at Alexander's and Harvest mostly, although I did go to Hi Nabor (delicious plate lunches) recently and liked it.

I think I read a while back, Izzo's was suppose to go into Juban, but there was some sort of deal with Rouses's and Juban that prohibited it. Izzo's was told it was a no go, and there have been some feud in the past IIRC it was because of Rouses's burrito bar, but Moe's is somehow there. I have been to that Rouses's and the one of Airline/Anitoch, and unless they are well hidden, I have not seen a burrito bar in either place. Are they in most other stores, I am not a fan of burritos, but do enjoy nachos more that a normal person.

Well I’ve been to rouses more times than I could count. Never had spoiled meat. Maybe Your just a fricking retard who doesn’t look at something before he buys it.

Spoiled produce, dairy and meats have turned me away. I actually miss LeBlanc's.

I've heard that from family and friends that live in the Jefferson/Bluebonnet area and in Zachary. I think both of their Rouses used to be LeBlanc's.

The 3 I've been to in New Orleans are nice.

The one on Airline in BR is nice. I don't see why the OP has his panties in a wad over Rouse's.

HEB

The HEB stores that I've been to were impressive...at least the "newer" locations.

Maybe they need to fire everyone that used to work st LeBlancs. Sounds like that’s the problem.

I wish we had HEB in Dallas, but we have their higher end Central Market stores that are amazing for anyone who enjoys that sort of thing.

Same here, and we've also gotten spoiled crawfish tails on several occasions from Hi Nabor on Jones Creek Road.

They got rid of a lot of the LeBlanc's personnel. That is the problem.

They're big. They definitely have a few things that you maybe can't find at other places. But for the most part I don't need that stuff, so it's really just flashy for nothing. It's nice, but we end up at Kroger more often.

Lapse in judgement for the Rouse people. Izzos burritos aren't worth the 12 dollars they charge, much less lawsuit money or jail time.

Supposedly they shite the bed pretty badly in Baton Rouge - particularly in the stores they acquired to penetrate AG's vice grip on the local market.

The stores they developed from the ground up (Airline, Juban) are decent.

This has been my experience with the switch from LeBlanc's to Rouse's. The quality of produce and meats has suffered severely. I buy most of my produce and meats from Costco now, and I have a Rouse's one mile from my house.

But every time I've been to a store that Rouse's has built ground-up, the quality is much better.

eta

I love Izzo's, don't know how anyone wouldn't.

Haven't been to Whole Foods lately. Have prices dropped since Amazon bought them?

They have a Moe's instead....which IMO is inferior. Rouses deprived the people of south central Livingston the excellence that is Izzo's burritos. Now they have to go all the way to Range Avenue for one.
