The “wait until we have large scale double blind studies” argument is completely without merit in this case. If you’re making it, you shouldn’t be taken seriously. Instead, we have such people in charge.

No, we actually have proven things in place that largely prevent death, like Monocolonal antibodies and vaccines.
There isn't a lot of evidence that Iver does much of anything but I would like to see it studied quite a lot more.
I wouldn't stop a Doctor from prescribing it if they want to, personally.

My last order came from Germany, but usually it is somewhere from N. America and the Caribbean that fills the order.
No I don't order ivermectin, some drugs are just cheaper to buy out of the country even after insurance.

Does it matter. I have no clue if I have had it yet. I've been out in public surrounded by tons of random people everyday since the beginning. I have never even been tested for it. Why would I or anyone else with the same track record, fairly young and healthy, go get an unnecessary vaccine. People compare this vaccine to MMR, polio, etc. Most vaccines are out there the protect against diseases that deeply impact everyone. It is impossible to eradicate this virus, so why not just let people who need it take it? There is a ton of data out that all indicates certain large categories of people truly don't need it. Now you are all lining up for boosters after this vaccine has barely been out. I'd rather catch it and let my immune system protect me like it's intended to.

You realize that Johns Hopkins is a) relying on data from India which is notoriously unreliable and b) we do not know if that is related to Iver at all, since a MASSIVE portion of India was infected and has natural immunity.
AND...India's Rt was declining a month before they started widespread use of Iver.
I am not against Ivermectin. I need to see large scale, controlled, double blind studies on it.
If a Dr feels comfortable prescribing it, I wouldn't stop him.
