Anyone receiving welfare should forfeit his right to vote- and that includes the "Earned" Income Credit.

Everyone knows you can’t buy alcohol with it

These people shouldn't be buying anything

Instead of giving people $$$ and saying "Here, we trust you to manage your funds correctly" it should be the ACTUAL items they can't afford.

You’re not supposed to buy that or hot food. It has to be prepackaged.

Yes, and I don’t agree with these, either. Subsidies and corporate bailouts can at least be angled as protecting American jobs. In my opinion, these should be loans, though.

People are very open and even seem proud of how much they can get in government handouts.

I've never heard anybody bragging about how much government assistance they are on. Who are you hanging out with?

The Great Society, nothing else needs to be said. This shite didn’t start yesterday, it started before most of us were born.

The rule used to be couldn’t buy “hot food” when I had a crawfish drive thru. Boiled crawfish I sold on card were just warm so no problems.

Not personal acquaintances, but I’ve overheard lots of people openly talk about how much stuff they get.

Ever work on a farm? An idea what you are talking about or your ignorant arse just popping off some talking point you read on CNN?

The government pays farmers not to farm to control the prices on the commodity markets you dip shite. Farmers don’t need help. They are so efficient and good at what they do, that if left to their own devices would have the price of wheat at 50 cents a ton. The government does this to bring stability to these markets so STFU and GTFO.

It’s not just poor people who receive 100s of billions, multi-billion dollar corporations do too, despite all the additional tax incentives, subsidies, irresponsible spending and 9 figure CEO salaries. It’s less shocking that the poor need a handout than the wealthy.

Key word in that is work. Last I checked that is the opposite of what muhdragonz is trying to have a gotcha moment about with his statement.

They make it so easy for these parasites to get welfare, food stamps and free health care but make it so hard for veterans to get the benefits that we all deserve.
