We think we have some bad shite go down when people protest here. It aint nothing compared to those fricks in the middle east.
They probably laugh "did you see what the stupid Americans consider protesting?"

Israel should be taking the heat since it was a Mossad operation

They probably scratch their heads wondering why so many pampered well fed young people who’ve never known hardship are even angry.

Yes. This probably more than anything. That's part of the reason they all hate us.

This has been happening since October last year. Their currency is valued at 80% what it was last October. Yikes.
Libtard Lebanese friend of mine said the UN should give people money directly and bypass the thieving government. Doubt that will happen.

The word they use to describe the United States is decadence. And they aren’t talking about chocolates and porn. They are talking about a society so affluent and nihilistic that it has spawned a National Suicide Movement out of boredom .

This is the best summation of recent events I’ve ever seen.

Is protesting just the hip thing these days?
If there ever was a reason to get out and protest, this is probably right near the top of the list.
Totally inept government that let a warehouse, that isn't secure at all, full of explosive material to sit around in the port for years. All while knowing there is a terrorist element of the populace that would absolutely do just about anything to get their hands on it. Only for there to be a huge "accident" that affects thousands of people leaving them dead, injured, and homeless.
Yeah, I'd be pissed too.

I don’t believe the explosion was due to Mossad or a missile or anything else. I 100% believe that the government through massive incompetence and corruption let tons of explosive material sit unattended for years in a densely populated urban area. Those same officials incompetence resulted in a fire that spread to that material and resulted in an explosion that killed a ton of the citizens that the government is charged with protecting.
That’s why they should protest and demand change in their government.

Can we send our protesters over there to help?

Can someone explain the consequences if this was Hezbollah or Israel related?
Anyone who is interested in understanding the mess in that part of the world should start by reading From Beirut to Jerusalem by Thomas L. Friedman. It is a very good synopsis and is a good read.

They all own AK's and look for reasons to fire them. This would be a reason.

No doubt it’s REAL messed up over there.... the explosion was one thing that was bad enough. The aftermath will be brutal.

I’ve heard they even lob oysters and scallops too.
It’s scary over there.
Oh shite! It's not an "R" month. Somebody's going to get food poisoning.

This is the part that gets me.
Why would you waste a bunch of prime warehouse space to store confiscated fertilizer for multiple years? Seems like they could’ve found somewhere else to hold it.

I’d be willing to put up with some brutality from these Beirut Police folks:
Lebanese women can be wonderful.
