Ice Cream. For some reason $8 a pint is a line I just can't cross right now.

I door dashed cole slaw yesterday from KFC to compliment some fish I fried, so no, I buy whatever I want.

Eggs aren't nearly high enough yet to not purchase....we eat lots of 'em.

Insane what these dealers are charging
This.
Dealers are still exploiting Covid to claim a 'shortage.' The full retail prices are crazy.
The used car prices are way up as well.
Who is cleaning up from all this?
Car repair shops. Everyone is just keeping what
they have and fixing what they already own. Wait
it out another year or two.
Have a friend in a wreck and it took TEN MONTHS for
the bodyshop to fix the car. "Waiting on parts."

I cut back a number of my wine club memberships.

Cut 75% of our streaming services.
That's really it.
We only buy material things when necessary, so if we need something the increases suck, but we aren't going to go without.
We never check our electric/water usage, so long as they are within reason.
Pinching pennies on utilities just to spend the same value in stress worrying about it is no good.
Still buy the same amount of groceries. Same gas. Same everything else.
If you're in a position where you have to scrimp on these things you have bigger issues. That's not an insult, and there's a limit to how much things can increase before even the most frugal person is priced out, but this inflation should be eating a punch, not a knockout blow.

No sir. I definitely notice the difference between their prices and the store price. Sometimes it's not much, but it's there. Plus, you miss the sales price when you use their service.
Instacart charges $5.39 for the same Jimmy Dean sausage that HEB charges $4.76 as an example. I mean we're not struggling(just finished building the retirement home) but no sense in wasting money.
When I retire in 15 years, gotta have enough money for that $200k GMC Sierra.

Plane tickets are pretty high right now. Need to go to a wedding in NYC in 6 months. The prices surprised me for so far out
It’s insane. I checked some international prices and they have almost doubled.

New truck. But transmission went out on mine and it had 200k miles on it so I bit the bullet.

Pas up the overpriced chicken wings for 1.00 dollar a pound legs/drumsticks. Cooks great as you would wings and a bit more meat

A house, we are first time buyers.
Between interest rates and run up in prices, the cost of a starter home has doubled.
I put 95% of the blame on the government for handing out trillions in PPP, extra unemployment, and "stimulus" money, all while the supply chain was shot to hell.

How are they cleaning up if they can't get parts?
The shortage is hurting them
