Thought I'd finally pull the trigger on a Gulfstream G700. I'll give it a few more years.

If I need it, I'm not putting off buying it, but for things that can wait, I'm waiting for prices to drop more

Car for me. My car is 11 years old now which still runs okay, but I thought of getting a new one, but won't until the prices start coming down. They're ridiculous.

wood has returned to pre-pandemic prices

Wrong. Current lumber prices are way lower than pandemic prices (when lumber prices quadrupled), but are still higher than pre-pandemic prices by about 20%. There is room to move a little lower, but we will never see sustained pre-pandemic prices again.

We rebuilt our dock recently and I'm currently replacing a deck. The prices weren't rock bottom but not what the plandemic prices were.

I've turned my spending towards making my house a pleasant place. Never been a go out to eat or go do things kind of guy. Golf is my one vice for entertainment. I enjoy building stuff and improving my property. Having a pool built right now which timing may be off in terms of pricing, but we had the money to do it and decided to make it our own. I'll be building 40'X 12' pergola in the near future over the patio. Cedar is going to cost a pretty penny.

I can sympathize with the compressor thing. At home I have a tried and true 70’s era Quincy 310 on a 60 gallon tank I was going to replace this year. It got knocked over a few years ago and the flywheel bent the crank shaft a little. It’s getting a new crankshaft and a full rebuild instead.

Chicken wings and steak in restaurants are still high but you can get both at the grocery store for close to pre-Covid prices when on sale. I just bought wings for $1.69/lb and boneless ribeye for $7/lb. a few weeks ago.

I used to like going to the movies on occasion but the price for some of the crap they are showing just isn't worth it.

I'm wanting to buy a new car but I've heard that the prices may be going down some or more incentives offered in the next year or so due to inventories rising. I think I'm going to hold off for a little bit but I'm definitely needing one

Entertainment and unnecessary travel(vacations). But I emphasized that we will start shopping again instead of just ordering groceries. The wife had gotten extremely lazy with that.

It's sad because this was the shitty cuts of chicken no one wanted and became a pretty cheap meal for the longest time.

Currently, wholesale prices for Chicken Wings are at the lowest price in 5 years. Wholesale Wings are down to $1.5 per pound

Grocery prices are 50-100% higher locally. Everything else is 20-50% higher.

I aint buying anything right now unless necessary. Covidians destroyed the value of the dollar.
