Now that Israel has resolved to destroy Hamas, I wonder how eager Hezbollah is to join the fight, and if Iran will hang both out to dry.

You got to understand that the average Hamas or Hezbollah fighter have the IQ’s of a dirty jock strap and thus are easily brainwashed. They have no critical thinking skills and gladly parrot the misinterpreted versions of Islam they have heard since youth in the Darwas. Their leaders are a bunch of vile filth usually living high on the hog as they direct the cannon fodder to martyr themselves. So the Leadership will have no issue pushing them forward.

Am I the only one that's disappointed in these numbers?

Fairly eager, I am sure.

I think they figured out both groups are ending their useful life if KSA and Israel make peace. They are getting their last mileage out of them.

I imagine once the Iron Dome starts tracking targets, they backtrack the radar signatures to a general area then send in the targeting drone to confirm before they counter.

Counter-battery radar and firing solutions have to be better and faster than having to verify it by drone (plus drones are new in the battlespace).

Israel has yet to enter Gaza.

That will make these look like rookie numbers.

Here is a live feed from a checkpoint on the West Bank. Some stuff going down there atm. I’ve heard occasional small arms fire. Looks like some IDF are at a stand-off with some rock throwers.

New York Times: "Training had been taking place in Lebanon and Syria, and a secret joint command center had been set up in Beirut, according to the Iranians and the Syrian familiar with the operation. Hezbollah’s top commandos, experienced in urban guerrilla warfare, trained Hamas members in Syria and Lebanon, according to two Iranians. Paragliders trained in Lebanon, they said, while in Syria, the Hamas members were trained to raid Israeli communities and take civilians hostage."

What happens if these smaller militias join in en masse? Will Syria and Lebanon back the militia efforts? If so, do Israeli allies (U.S. and others) start launching offensive air raids at that time? Will Jordan and Saudi Arabia take any action for/against Israel?

Seems like a lot of dominos start dropping in the next week.

If Syria or Lebanon start getting involved militarily, I’d imagine we step in militarily as well. It’s a dangerous slippery slope that we’re on at the moment and hopefully Israel can handle this on their own.

They've got a pretty good fire going. I'm waiting to see that tanker truck blow up.

Probably not. Seems to be a large amount of genocide support in here.

My gut tells me there will be no large-scale saviors coming to help Hamas. Hamas wasn't able to degrade the IDF any, and it seemed it wasn't their focus. Given they did nothing militarily but piss Israel off royally adding to that the US and UK movements I think most will just watch it play out. I did say before I think Israel needs to do what they plan fairly quickly since the longer it takes and the more information about women and children dying that comes out of Gaza the more sympathy will wane internationally. It is just human nature.

Lebanon proper will not get involved however Hezbollah (the unofficial power) will.

Syria would be stupid to get involved considering the current state of their military and economy but no one ever said the average Syrian is that bright.

Correct. The Lebanese president is nominally in charge but Hezbollah runs Bartertown.

I’d laugh my arse off if they tried.

Trying to take a timeout in a civil war to attack your neighbor couldn’t POSSIBLY end up with the neighbor whipping your arse and the other factions taking advantage of your stupidity.
