Mossad intercepted shipments of pagers and rigged them with explosives.

They can’t just do this with any phone or pager. They have to physically rig them with explosives first, like they did here.

Why are these three terrorist groups sponsored by Iran names all start with a "H"?

So I can't stop dialing wrong numbers to that area in the hope that I could blow some more up?

Serious question so I understand, the technology is now available to remotely make walkie talkies blow up?

Somebody put a small amount of high explosives in the walkie talkies and found a way to detonate upon some command. Technology probably been around for a while. But nobody did it. We need to be careful about ChyNAh doing this to our cell phones in the future. It would wipe out 3/4ths of our country in one hour.

That's the value of the "we made the batteries explode" explanation. Everyone will worry.

A supply chain op, where they rigged pagers and radios, then pushed them out into the hands of the bad guys doesn't have the same effect.

Those bystanders must be accustomed to random explosions. They hardly batted an eye, and nobody rushed over to help. "Ah, he'll be fine."

Just a thought but how would you like to be Hezbollah procurement chief after this debacle?
I imagine he's starting to sample his 72 virgins.

imbed it with a cellular receiver with enough c4 and call it when you want to detonate it.
