Heat index is not real. Quit crying, it's hot in the summer every year.

I keep a screen shot of the weather channel app on my phone when it was 19 degrees this past winter to remind me to never complain when it’s hot.

Would much rather uncomfortable heat than uncomfortable cold. Been out in the field training or in the stand/blind way too many times freezing my arse off to want to frick with being cold.

You boast but come October you’ll be cursing your snow shovel and Eskimo suit while we’re gearing up for 6-7 months of nice weather.

It is pretty hot right now, but I don't mind it. Really clears out the golf courses on a Saturday. Probably going to get an afternoon round in after the Open ends today..

ETA 95-100 degrees beats the shite out of sub 40 weather. The heat is an inconvenience. The cold is painful and just sucks.

Give me heat over cold any day

I always tell people, when it’s 100 I can still be on a boat in the shade with a cold beer and it feels great

When you’re in Minnesota and it’s -5 for 3 straight months, you ain’t doing shite

Great point. I've yet to experience heat so bad that I can't sit outside in the shade and drink a cold beer.

I love winter, can't wait for it. We're going to be transitioning into fall in about two weeks. Leaves will start changing on the Cottonwoods.

It's 70s in ohio this weekend. Going to be 70s and low 80s for next couple weeks according to 4cast.

My wife and I already have our plan when we win the lottery to keep our normal home in DFW, and get a summer home in Breckinridge and Maine, and split time between the two

When folks in Houston make another Tshirt commemorating their survival of a month of 100F afternoon temperatures, then I'll trot out the word "hottest".

Until then, nope.

Early 80s

People were being found dead in their homes all month, and us idiots were out there every weekend playing in softball tournaments. In 112 degree temps

No.

2011 was one of the hottest summers on record.

We haven’t approached it yet.

I was just a kid then but I remember hearing about people being found dead due to heat pretty regular on the news.

Meanwhile it’s been 109 actual temp in Dallas with a heat index over 112.

1980 was brutal. It wasn't just one big wave, it was continuous.

And it was hotter in BR and NOLA than DFW yesterday for heat index when you factor in the humidity.

This was yesterday. Supposed to be the same or hotter today through Monday. It was still 100 at 9PM.

Yep. Never understood people constantly bitching about summer heat when they live in Louisiana.

I love summer.
