Yes.

Fabric shopping!

There is absolutely nothing a man can occupy his time with in a fabric store.

Can’t stand shopping. Really enjoy furniture shopping. Never a bad day when you can upgrade something in your house.

Yeah, I bought a dining room table recently and it was a complete shitshow. I even got chewed out over on the Home & Garden board.

I enjoy it. Especially if you can find a good place. We had an independently owned one here in Arlington that was nice but they closed a while back. There is also a Stacy's Furniture that has a ton of stuff. We got a china cabinet and a sofa for the media room, it is nice and comfy.

ETA: I need to get a new mattress and looking at the prices for a king size is shocking. Not looking forward to putting out the bucks that my wife will require.

A treble hook in your dick hole has to be right up there, though.

1) At least you get to sit and/or lay down.
2) While doing the above, wife will definitely keep walking. Then you are separated, and you can harken back to what you were taught in school... when lost, stay put.

So no, I do not think it ranks #1. Close, but not quite.

Try wallpaper shopping.

Many things are worse than furniture shopping.

Driving between Mobile and Montgomery.
Realizing Delta has no problem letting you stew a few hours for a flight that they might cancel later.
Getting to the doors of the grocery store and realizing you forgot the go**amn mask in your vehicle.

If you are buying anything available in BR you might as well buy whatever is in stock at Costco. I plan on mixing the import Costco crap with some H&M pieces ordered from probably Virginia. I don't know why local dealers won't deal on furniture, they literally take an order and H&M sends everything direct to the customer including inside delivery. Furniture stores are dumb, they "hire" design consultants on contract and give them a commission on what they sell. You are much better off hiring a designer separate from the store and sourcing the pieces online.

Yep. Moving into a new house two days before COVID lockdown and then having furniture delivery delayed for almost three months.
