Yeah, this guy who found the body is suspicious. Too many coincidences took place. Was the $10K reward money paid to this guy?
News said he’s getting a portion, but I sure hope they rethink that.

Kiran did an interview with Millard's wife.
I get that she is upset about how he was wrapped up , but she is still blaming BRPD and thinks foul play is what happened and wants state police involved.
Don’t think she is ready to admit his issues publicly.

Yeah I guess she’s having a hard time accepting the truth with this.
I might be doing the same if I were in her situation

The wife is clearly frustrated as she should be particularly with some things she was told.
I’m also surprised law enforcement didn’t keep his phone. They sent it home with the client so that was right away. Seems odd. Just like not taking the entire rug seems odd.
The Chief bragged about all the downtown cameras. Seems she was told many of them are fake and others don’t record. Tip line just rings with no answer.
I noticed Kiran stayed away from any addiction discussion.
It’s an interesting interview. Regardless of what happened, the interview doesn’t put BRPD or the Chief in a good light. She spoke favorably about the investigator, but honestly, the Chief probably should have at least spoken with her once.

This woman has done her research. She knows BRPD has paid millions in lawsuit settlements under this administration. Get it girl!

Thanks for posting link. Okay so changes my impression of wife’s reaction . The headlines yesterday made it seem that family accepted the “no foul play” narrative. That is NOT at all what NM’s wife is saying. She is not happy.

That woke POS ain’t acknowledging the death of any white person. Have you heard him mention Allie Rice? Or Madison Brooks?

I hear she didn't cover why he walking around all night until 4:30a under no distress?
When the autopsy comes back with him loaded with drugs, what's her take then?
Kiran could have hammered her on why he didn't want the help getting back to the hotel.. or what exactly is he doing walking around..not by the hotel.. but down at the bus station in general at 2..3...4a...not in his hotel room sleeping for his business meeting the next morning? I get why she didn't..but the wife's blame game ain't flying

Well, I mean, how are we defining “foul play”? Selling illicit street drugs is illegal. As is transporting/dumping a corpse. All are technically foul play. I think what a reasonable person, in this scenario, means by foul play is “targeted murder by bad actor in DT Baton Rouge”. For the latter there doesn’t appear to be evidence at this point.

First time I’ve seen that video. That does NOT appear he is “walking alongside” the man. Seems that dude once he got off the ground, is shoving him and harassing him…
Again, we don’t have a time stamp of when/where this happened either. If it’s before the greyhound station and that guy is no longer with him, that’s different then if it’s 4am walking somewhere north of Florida St closer to Scenic. Just sayin

Yep. She's acting like she had no knowledge of his substance abuse issues and he was robbed and somehow murdered. Kiran did a terrible job not asking her hard but obvious questions

Exactly, at some point a person has to be responsible for their own actions

She sure has. Research her, they aren’t married. She has successfully sue her local police department. She is pissed that they stopped talking to her. His oldest son signed to release the body and suddenly she does an interview.

The teenage sons did. She hasn’t communicated with them since the beginning. He wasn’t involved in their lives. Notice she didn’t mention them in the interview.

Try to put yourself in the wife’s shoes. Even if you know about the addiction issue, which she has to know from accounts we’ve read, wouldn’t you still want to know for sure that he was dead when wrapped and dumped and who did that? Would you want to know when he OD’d and why no one helped at that time? It may sound nonsensical to others, but this is her husband.
Mute wife is still focusing on the cell phone and money clip being found on the streets. She is clearly not convinced about the presumptions that the public has made. I don’t think she deserves criticism or as much as some are giving. She’s starving for information.

Video appears to come from the side door camera of the Arkel Constructors building at N. 11th and Florida, about a block down from Greyhound.

I don't see any physical contact or aggression here at all. They're just walking. White shirt drops something on the ground, bends down and picks it up, and they continue on.

I agree with you. How this was handled seems unprofessional. How could she not feel like they just brushed him off as a statistic? Baton Rouge should demand more from the City.
