Who saw him going into a house?

Could have been a pole camera due to it being a known location for trafficking narcotics.

If that’s true, that house could be the location where he died. Cops should be able to identify any vehicle that could have been used to transport a body. If the occupants of the home knew of the camera, it would take more work to remove the body via a neighboring yard.

I chuckled when he said to call the coroner's office if you have any questions regarding the autopsy. Like the coroner's office is going to give out more info than they have released.

I’m certainly no BR apologist but the fact that he didn’t get killed by someone else’s hand considering where he was wandering around is pretty impressive. ODs can happen anywhere.

Seems like you have the inside track on exactly what happened here, but can't say too much without possibly burning the person who filled you in?

Could you at least give us an idea of what you meant when you said "it was basically what we had all imagined" or whatever wording you used?

From what I gather, he basically wandered around the seedy part of town while hammered until he could find someone that could lead him to a drug house. He had withdrawn money to buy said drugs either before or after meeting the hookup guy, then went to a trap house where he was seen entering but never leaving? He's never seen or heard from again alive, but his body is found weeks later in an abandoned garage.

Can you fill in any of the blanks we're curious about without putting yourself out there too much?

My initial gut reaction is that the guy who "found" him, knew he was there all along - whether it be from rumors he heard on the streets or he was directly involved in placing him there. He was simply trying to collect the reward money of $10k while trying to make it appear as a random discovery, as much as he possibly knew how. That's why his story is so odd - he knew he was placed there somehow and had to make it look like he just "found" the body there at 3:30am

What was he taking or doing or whatever that gave him the energy to keep on until 4:30 a.m.?

He could have scored some of that high speed chicken feed. OD sounds more like opiod/fent though.

You nailed it. He found exactly what he was looking for when he ventured to that area of town.
The people he found were amiable and they partied together with multiple calls to the dope man. Then he overdosed in the Crackhouse and his new friends freaked out and had him disposed of. I do not know what he actually ODd on but I know what he was buying. Maybe the 3rd bag was tainted or he simply did enough dope to cause the acute toxicity or whatever.

Anyhooots alot of us figured that was what happened from the 3rd day or so.

And this was not at all his first bender on a work trip. 2-3 days typical and come back tail tucked and go to rehab.

I think it was the only time he could sneak it in without the wife knowing. Hence him Facetiming her at the game. She probably tried to keep pretty close track of him when he was able to do whatever he wanted.

He probably would go home and not say a thing.

My take on this is ole boy was partying with a different demographic than everybody think… ain’t a lot of trap houses got the necessary plastic or a rug to wrap him in… plus why wouldn’t they call the ambulance if he overdosed in front of them??… I don’t know if y’all know but the police don’t necessarily question people at the scene of a overdose… sometime police don’t even respond if paramedics get there first… dude probably met some people around his age and culture got a bad pack and what happened happen… they more likely panicked never being around a OD before and dumped his body… ain’t no way hell his friend who was with him not involved

I called a while ago and asked about marijuana in his system. They got very squirmy and stopped answering my questions. Very suspicious.

I agree. Everyone assuming a “trap house” or “crack house”. He was probably at some apartments or actual house somewhere with some Caucasian dopeheads.

Did Channel 2 have to show the hundreds of maggots crawling on the ground in that abandoned building? With a dirty rug in the foreground. How gross.

So if i’m reading this right… dude basically got loaded and decided he wanted to keep going, somehow met up with some sketchy crack head folks and continued the party. Eventually got too loaded, OD’d, and sketchy folk decided to dump his body?

So you're speculating that he partied with a more "well-off" crowd of drug users, and that they didn't know what to do when he overdosed so they wrapped him up and disposed of him?

And on top of that, you think the guy he met in town for business was present the whole time and had a watchful eye over what ended up happening?

That seems like the complete opposite of reality, IMHO.

Dude that met him for business cut and ran when his client got too fricked up to control and began insisting on finding harder drugs. He thought he didn't want any part in all of that and parted ways, maybe irresponsibly, but now he views that decision in hindsight.

When his client didn't show up the next morning and he couldn't track him down, he knew something bad had happened. That's the Occam's razor version that fits the events without stretching any facts or making crazy assumptions

There aren't any well off people in that area. It's a dump.

You think maybe he ran across some other white Construction Manager types or professional type people out around the Greyhound bus station area in the wee hours of the morning and he was partying with them?
