No it doesn't, just the opposite. They got scared of being connected to the OD, so they dumped him.

I mean wrapping a body in a tarp and dumping it somewhere has got to get you in some kind of trouble.

Is it possible, this helped serve to preserve it enough to perform a decent autopsy?

We don't know when or how he lost his phone. He reported that he lost it to the woman at the bus station when he was there at about 2:30 am. Don't know if he dropped it himself or if it was stolen and dropped off as suggested.

Correct, I was responding to Mikelbr who said "They freaked out when he OD'd and disposed of his phone back downtown and his body where it wouldn't be found for at least a few days. They just wanted him not to appear to have been in that area. But didn't kill him."

We don't know exactly when he lost his phone, but it would appear it was before he OD'd since he was walking around the bus station looking for his lost phone.

It’s a very distinct “human” smell. It’s the same odor as puss or body odor, but much more intense.

They could have just dumped him on a street corner and called an anonymous tip to 911 to report finding a dead body. Seems like you’d get in more trouble wrapping him up and trying to conceal him.

It appears he lost it en route to procure narcotics from randoms.

What is known is he found some amiable folks to do get and do drugs with.

I'm not saying I told yall so but the truth is, most homeless people will be your best friend if you buy the booze or party favors. And they'll order the shite up. You buy they fly.
Nathan knew this drill well. He was no amateur in this behavior.

It is absolutely possible the dude who 'smelled' him was trying to get the reward.

I guess his family should not be surprised by the facts surrounding his death.

Oh. Well yeah. Illegal disposing of remains. But much less than him dying from an OD if you supplied the drugs.

This was indicated from the conversation he is said to have had with the lady at the bus station who said he couldn't find his phone and was trying to get back to the hotel.

By 2:30 when he spoke to the woman, he was probably on his 1st or 2nd trip back and forth to the trap house getting money from the ATM and going back to get more drugs. The crackeads and dealers probably had already stolen his phone or he lost it in the trap house. The druggy guys moving the body had the phone and disposed of it on7th and Convention st. to get it away from their trap house.

Lol. In BR? You can murder a guy at noon in front of the mall with a hail of gunfire and walk free.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread that he had 2 biological teenage sons that had were adopted by their stepfather. So sadly I am guessing this isn't new.

Is it normal for people with cars to be in that type of neighborhood doing drugs? I would think if you somewhat had your life together you'd go somewhere a little better but I'm clueless on that lifestyle.

It was more of a "happy accident" type of question.

Who saw him going into a house?

They are not. And they are not still drumming up conspiracies and shite like the Facebook detectives who refuse to believe this was accidental.
They have closure.
