That's the best outcome the family could hope for. If he got bad drugs, they will likely never find out from where. Hopefully, they can accept that he relapsed and his disease got the best of him and grieve his loss. This is another very sad story of addiction.

Is there a reason they aren't saying what drugs he was doing? I'm starting to think it was pot and they don't want to freak everyone else out.

He was seen going into a house but no one saw him come out. Police checked the house but didn’t find him, probably had already died.

Makes sense for junkies to wrap him in something to dispose of the body. Less attention than just having ya know a dead body in your vehicle uncovered to dispose of.

no chance. He wouldn’t have had to leave Happy’s if that’s what he was looking for

If that was true he would have spent $100 on door dash and woke up alive in his room the next morning.

The disposing of the body insinuates foul play.

In this case, I think it insinuates foul odor that the other druggies didn't want around them.

How does a body decomposing for two weeks not get picked apart by buzzards, coons, etc? That's what I don't understand in all this

This is all 100% true of what happened.

Louisiana has laws that can get you charged with murder if someone OD's in your presence, especially if you procured the drugs that killed them.

Gonzales couple a while back ditched a dead dude in a truck right down their own fricking street. All b/c he OD'd and they freaked out.

A coworker of mine at the Papa Johns was left to die from OD b/c people were afraid to call 911 and get arrested.

VERY Common.

I just mean the person relying on a crackhead stranger not to give him dope laced w/ fentanyl may be more of an idiot than drug dealer he trusts.

Can’t wait to see the crew he was with when it comes out.

Baton Rouge’s finest I’m sure.

I’m sure they left evidence all over the place.

No it doesn't, just the opposite. They got scared of being connected to the OD, so they dumped him.

They aren't going to release all the details. And I can't share them either.
But I can 100% assure you it's what we've all been thinking.

Man i hate when people say this. Mind over matter is a real thing. We give people a pass and call it a disease when it's not. I have lived through it first hand.

They freaked out when he OD'd and disposed of his phone back downtown and body where it wouldn't be found for at least a few days. They just wanted him not to appear to have been in that area. But didn't kill him.

But according to reports he had already lost his phone at 2:30 am. This was indicated from the conversation he is said to have had with the lady at the bus station who said he couldn't find his phone and was trying to get back to the hotel.

We don't know when or how he lost his phone. He reported that he lost it to the woman at the bus station when he was there at about 2:30 am. Don't know if he dropped it himself or if it was stolen and dropped off as suggested.
