The client, who stayed at the bar, probably would have noticed that.

I feel like this would be something the police, wife and client would keep private right now.
Obviously this is something that probably crossed all our minds, as we still don’t know who used the ATM either….

Im gonna guess he met someone, starting talking about how important of a buisness man he was, how he was in town alone, female probably lured him into a trap away from the bar.

Good probability this happened. I dropped my wife off at Target one morning when it opened. The parking lot was empty so I pulled out in the middle of the lot to wait for the wife to call to pick her up. This 20's white chick walks up asking for a ride. I told her no. She then proceeds to walk to the Motel 6 that is in eye shot. She knocks on a hotel room door. This big black dude comes out and they talk smoking cigarettes. She was going to try to get me in that room to rob me or worse. BR is a shite hole full of shite bags.

No telling, if its the case i can see the client keeping that to himself. Wife and all.

I don't know.. this looks like a big deal. The client needs to be telling facts.

Reading the story on WAFB, I dont see where it says the client left first. It just says the client told police when Nathan left the bar

He would have had to be there to know that?

I nearly had this happen in N.O. Pretty white girl came running up to me crying saying she needed help, she started pulling me towards one of the side streets before a friend of mine pulled me away from her. My dumb self really thought she needed help. As i walked away i looked back to see her standing with some massive black guy on the side of the street. Couldve been me.

I’m sure the client is telling facts to the police…but he’s not going to go public with that information IF that was even the case
I find it strange that with the additional media picking up this story, the police claim to have a video of the man using the card, but haven’t released that picture yet or which location that was at…seems that is much more important right now then if Nathan was trying to get some strange on an out of town business trip

Maybe. Maybe they talked about when they would each leave. Maybe Nathan texted him saying he was leaving. Ya never know.

Anyone know anything about Convention Street Park, on Convention and 7th Street?

Used to eat lunch there routinely. It's a good area. Those apartments next door are some of the nicest in BR. Even at midnight, I'd feel comfortable there, I just might be on the lookout for people that look out of place.

I don't think he went to the greyhound station himself, I think that's where the perp went, maybe to get away. I definitely would not go to that greyhound station at midnight.

I have to think he actively got himself into some nefarious stuff,

I hate to think that, but many people even mild mannered people look for vices in a new city when traveling alone. Be it a thrill or company. Most of the time these vices are enjoyed with no one else being the wiser. Sometimes dabbling into that side of life can suck you in.

From what the wife said, sounds like a city worker found it that Thursday morning and the hotel manager and his client went to meet him to retrieve it, that’s when the client was able to notify the wife

Here's the weird thing about it. Why would you rob and kill a guy for nothing but a card that's going to have limits?
Something doesn't add up about the deal.

It would be pretty hard to find something to get into in DT BR on a Wednesday night. There probably weren't 20 people around. Not saying it didn't happen either but it would be dead at that day and time

Hoodrats aren't very smart. But it is odd to commit murder over a few hundred dollars. Why not just rob the guy and let him go?

Just saw you posted picture from the game. Any chance this could be him and his client? Definitely could be seen as a greenish hat and black shirt (more clear in your original pic). Probably good enough seats to show the wife on FaceTime too

People are sick out there. Maybe Nathan tried to fight it, who knows. I still remember that video a few months back on here of the guy shooting the convenience store clerk in the side of the head for no reason before walking out the back…and that was just for a couple hundred bucks cash
