Is there an app that measures square footage for you?

Trying to get the square footage of upstairs for hardwood floor.. is there an app that you can download that measures square footage?

My app is an analog tape measure and internal multiplication. Rough stuff.

You're going to have a much easier time just doing the work by seperating geometric shapes and their respective area.
I don't even know how an app would do something like that, honestly.

Measure in feet, then,
Length x Width = Sq Ft.
Length x Width = Sq Ft.

Give him a different measurement every time. The apps use your camera to map out the room but it has to guess the dimensions based on perspective. They're fun to play with but aren't accurate.

Go to the property appraisers website, get the footage of your house. Multiple the length by width. Boom. There's no reason to be exactly perfect just get it to within 50 or 100 sq ft.
