Is there a profession better at patting themselves on the back than teachers?

My Facebook (trashy, I know) feed is currently full of teachers congratulating themselves on completing a very difficult year ahead of their 3 month vacation.
I’m not denying they had a difficult year, most professionals did to be honest, but teachers love the opportunity to remind us how hard their jobs are and to congratulate themselves.
Obviously this is a very anecdotal observation, but in my book teachers have surpassed nurses for top of the leaderboard in this category. Pretty big upset.

Do you know any nurses?

They had parents do their work for half the year this year, at least in my city.
A lot of nurses earned it this year. So they get a break for a bit.

Whenever teachers get a flyover it'll be worth my time (I'm looking at your nurses)

No. They're the worst. They do everything they can to deflect from the fact that they only "work" 180 or so days a year.

I know a bunch of nurses... none post anything close to a "pat on the back"... ever. The teachers on the other hand... they are always posting poor me or dumb shite

Spend a couple of days in a school and you'll get their self-congratulatory behavior.
Real estate agents are worse, IMO. Much, much worse.

Teachers are the most under-compensated labor in America. It’s no wonder they’re always bitching and fricking—seeking validation and reassurance.

My sister is a teacher and my wife is a nurse.
Teachers are by far the worse.

Let them have their fun. It’s kind of like when you throw a party for a 5 year old when they graduated kindergarten.
Was I the only 6 yr old that was disappointed when I realized I don’t get a cake every time I finish another school year?

I just can't imagine being so far up your own arse to put a sign in your yard that says "A Hero Lives Here." And these are pretty much all teachers and nurses.

I taught. I didnt get out because of the kids, I got out because of other teachers and administrators.
Schools are full of people who make shitty decisions and still find ways of justifying it.
