He's clearly a cutting-edge artiste.

That being said, I do think he's talented.

He’s won awards for writing for 30 Rock
He was hilarious on Community
He created The show Atlanta
His stand up is incredible
His career as Childish Gambino has been insane as what was originally a side project.

Sure: he can do all of those things. But he does none of them well

From his wiki:

quote:

In 2016, Glover received widespread acclaim from television critics for the comedy-drama television series Atlanta created by and starring him, for which he won two Golden Globe Awards, including Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy and he received four Primetime Emmy Awards nominations, winning Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. As of 2018, he won five Writers Guild of America Awards for his contribution to the satirical television sitcom 30 Rock and for the first season of Atlanta. For his music, Glover has received one Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance for the song "Redbone". At the 2018 edition, he was also nominated in the categories Album of the Year for "Awaken, My Love!" and Record of the Year for "Redbone". His single "This Is America" was also critically acclaimed, earning him four additional awards, including Song of the Year.

Hes very talented. He is one of my favorite rappers, he can sing, but I much prefer his music when he raps.

I really enjoyed his stand up special. Wish he would make another one. Not to mention his show Atlanta is hilarious(patiently awaiting season 3 in 20201, and he was great in Community.

Another great one is Jamie Foxx, Jamie is probably better in Stand Up, a better overall actor, and has a better singing voice. He is also a solid keyboardist as well. I saw him live once, him singing songs at the keyboard while simultaneously making jokes the whole way through was so great to watch. He possibly can, but I have never seen Gambino pick up an instrument.

The edge I would give Gambino is that he is a writer. He writes his own music for the most part(Jamie doesnt) and he also writrs for TV shows. I dont think jamie has done that at all, maybe for his sitcom but I dont think he did for that. Gambino wrote a pilot and even more for a Deadpool series, but for some reason Marvel shut it down. I was looking forward to that.

Don't feel bad, he is not necessarily an A-List celebrity. To his credit he has still accomplished a lot, you have likely seen his face before, even if you don't know who he is

Gaga is weird as shite, and her music doesnt do it for me. But I will admit she is very talented. She is probably a world-class vocalist, and can play instruments as well.

I havent seen her act yet, but I dont doubt she can hold her own.

Well, lots of other people think he's great and have given him many awards.

Opinions are like assholes and yours is particularly shitty.

Who cant? Its 2020. People have been being able to do this since the late 90s.

Now..you need to be able to do this, and also have your own cosmetic line.
