RMS Queen Mary 2 (also referred to as the QM2) is a transatlantic ocean liner. She is the largest ocean liner ever built,[9] having served as the flagship of the Cunard Line since succeeding the Queen Elizabeth 2 in 2004.[10] As of 2019, Queen Mary 2 is the only passenger ship operating as an ocean liner.[11]
The new ship was named Queen Mary 2 by Queen Elizabeth II in 2004 after the first RMS Queen Mary of 1936. Queen Mary was in turn named after Mary of Teck, consort of King George V. With the retirement of Queen Elizabeth 2 in 2008, Queen Mary 2 is the only transatlantic ocean liner in line service between Southampton, England, and New York City, United States, operating for a part of each year. The ship is also used for cruising, including an annual world cruise.[12]

No. This is...
The QM2 takes what, like a week, to cross the Atlantic? The Millennium Falcon did the Kessel Run in twelve parsecs.

It’s always trashy when people copy and paste from Wikipedia. So obvious with all the footnote numbers.
Also is Wikipedia the new Reddit?

No. It's a gigantic greyhound built with modern shipbuilding techniques. The only thing impressive about it is that they could afford to build it.
The us navy on the other hand has some real feats of engineering and firepower floating around out there. Big Mo is easily the greatest IMO. The Missouri was laid in the early 40s and still slinging lead in the gulf war.

Just looked, the Wisconsin was also shooting during the gulf war. Didnt know that.
The Missouri was where WWII officially ended, so it wins greatest ship ever IMO
The uss constitution should get some recognition as well.
Queen Mary 2 is a big arse floating hotel ship. Ain't shite impressive about it

And three guys over there thought it was a “Come as your favorite Monopoly character” party.

What is a round trip from NYC to the UK going to cost me?

There are cruise ships larger than the QM2. I guess because this is designated as an ocean liner it’s considered the largest of that type? The Oasis class ships are larger than this
