Everyone keeps saying. "Open up the economy." However, I've heard reliable reports that people are spending the money. I personally know people that have bought, firearms, ATVs, Boats, and Vehicles in the past couple weeks. I can only assume the large crowds at the building supply stores that people keep mentioning aren't just browsing. Furthermore it goes to reason that if a majority of people are making more staying at home than they were working then they are probably spending it more freely as well. So why is the economy not booming?

I'm not an economist so I'll hang up and listen.

Bruh are you retarded? The Economy is not closed.... it is slowed tremendously with the fact that over half of Americans are staying home and not doing their usual day to day activities; i.e. boosting the economy naturally.

You should look into becoming an economist though, you’ve clearly got it all figured out

This is kind of a dumb thread but this board is skewed due to whatever is going on in Louisiana

Things are pretty open parts of the country and even prior to that, a lot of places were doing pretty good business despite the restrictions because the exceptions were so broad.

I find it a little strange when I talk to people clamoring to get out of the house, as we've been getting out almost every day - pick up food, pick up beer curbside at a local brewery, food/drink trucks come to our neighborhood, go to a city park and run with the dog, etc.
