To bad you can't buy anything made in the USA instead of China.

The bicentennial made this look like an underpublicized private event.

There is virtually nothing for America 250, compared to what there was then.

I wasn't around for the bicentennial... but agree that our 250th seems more understated than I'd hoped.

For all those that couldn't experience 1976 first hand
Let me just say that it was a very uplifting time
The celebrations were everywhere and lasted all year. It was really huge.
I was only 9 but never in my life had I been more grateful and proud to live in a country where my actions, my thoughts and my speech were free and protected.
For that one year the entire country... black, white, yellow & red engaged in one giant group hug. Crime stats were down.
I wish it could have lasted.
On a side note...that was the year I joined the KISS ARMY.

I wish it was 100x as much

If this were 15 years ago, having the 250 and World Cup? Summer would be so fun. Unfortunately, half the country loathes it now.

Need more America 250. It's time for each of us to step our game up.

x1000. regardless of political affiliation, religion, race, etc. We should all be leaning further into the celebration of our country hitting its 250th birthday. It makes me sad and mad.

Graduated high school that year. Everything was red, white, and blue. It got old fast.

Still not as bad as the millions spent on these signs in 2020 for the sole purpose of virtue signaling.
