Netflix has a bunch of old Raw episodes and PPV’s that are fun to revisit

Depends on what you want. WWE spends most of their time on entrances, talking, and commercials. Lots of sing a longs too. It's pretty safe and inoffensive but gets boring at times.

AEW is more wrestling focused. The matches could either be great or a complete Trainwreck. You never know what you're gonna get with them

Wrestling hasn’t been good since the days of Mid South wrestling.

Is AEW or WWE the better one to watch?
Both have really fun and really cringe segments on all of their shows week to week. I'd recommend going to the AEW and WWE YouTube channels and watching highlight videos to get a feel of what you like.

I'm still into pro wrestling (not as much as I used to be) because it reminds me of good times I had with my grandfather, and I appreciate it as a really unique form of live entertainment. We're lucky today to be able to watch plenty of new wrestling every week from several different promotions and lots of historical and foreign wrestling on YouTube.

I miss the days of Ted DiBiase and Junkyard Dog. Back when it was filmed at the Irish McNeil's Boys Club just off the state fairgrounds in Shreveport. Boyd Pearce announcing and Bill Watts as commentator. Every Saturday night at 10:30.

I liked it as a young kid. I remember years later, I was so glad that my son did not believe in it anymore. I will say that I thought it was better when the old school wrestlers were doing it, the entertainment factor was much better.

If you're a T&A guy, the females get almost as much time as the guys do now. And it's not Mae Young or Moolah looking women.

I used to watch it until WWE Network went the way of the dodo bird.

I think it was on peacock or something now, but the format couldn't be beat with the app.

I liked it at the time. I think I quit watching around 2018 or so. NOLA Wrestlemania got me back in to it for a few years.

As many people here know, I've been an avid fan since 1981 and have worked in the business in various capacities since the late-90s. That said, I rarely watch anymore. I am up-to-date on all the latest goings-on but there's really nothing that captivates my attention or intrigues me to watch.

I know ill get a lot of backflips and obvious cooperation between the competitors. I know ill get little production value, and no build to any of the matches. For a kicker they might spend some time building a grudge match feud between two guys who will be out injured for the next six months, and then drop it when they come back.

I've been watching wrestling since I was a kid but I've always had periods throughout where I would stop watching for years at a time before getting back into it.

Last time I stopped watching was from about 2016 till Wrestlemania 40 where I stared watching again, been watching it every week since.

Watched in the 80's growing up during the Hogan years. Quit early 90s until the RAW v Nitro wars heated up and through the Attitude era. Quit watching during the PG Cena years and got back into it because of my nephews at the height of Roman and the Bloodline storyline.

It's a live action soap opera for guys and their kids. Enjoy it for the entertainment value and the storylines.

Professional wrestling ie what AEW does, especially ppvs, is as good as and more accessible than wrestling has ever been. It's not the 80s and wrestlers aren't a part of the zeitgeist anymore like Hogan or Macho Man, but neither are movie stars these days.

WWE is fun to watch but is a parody of "professional wrestling." Probably the better option if you're looking to introduce wrestling to a kid. A 13+ year old is going to want something more edgy than WWE though and that's where AEW steps in.

Only if you appreciate it for the comedic value. It's nothing more than a slightly more violent episode of "The Three Stooges" where all the violence is staged and the end result is already in the bag before it starts.

Everyone over the age of 7 who watches wrestling knows it is not a legitimate sport. It's staged to captivate the audience through different storytelling measures of suspense, just like any tv show or movie. Except it's a tv show/movie that you can attend live.

So I take it you don't watch movies at all. You just watch news, biographies and 'real' sports.
