The population of the USA is 331,000,000.

There are currently 11,000,000 cases in this country. That is 3.3% of the population.

There are currently 246,000 deaths. That is 0.074% of the population

2.2% of the cases die from Covid.

I’m watching the news and you would think every other person in this country has the virus.

I know there are people here that know people who have gotten it and died from it. I’m not taking away from anyone else’s personal tragedy.

Now just for me personally, I don’t know one single person that has it or had it. I have a high school friend who’s husband has it. My daughter has a friend who has it. I don’t know a single personal friend or family member that has it.

That being said I can’t begin to tell you how many people I’ve known personally that have died of heart attacks and cancer. I cant come close to counting how many.

I’m sorry. I don’t get it.

You need to work deaths as a percentage of those contracted cases since not everyone has covid

Cancer and heart attack are not contagious

The recovery rate is also vital and ours is amongst the highest in the world

I know several that have had it. I had it. It was really bad but I have respiratory problems.

Don’t know anyone personally that died

Along with shutting down the Covid Biden has a Cancer foundation that may have found a cure for cancer.

Oh wait nevermind that would actually require research.

Comparing a contagious virus to heart disease and cancer is dumb.

With that said, yes, the COVID hysteria is overblown.

Stop watching the news. Your life will be better.

George Carlin

Listen to the last 5 minutes regarding education/politics (even though the whole skit is hilarious).

also factor in that most are released 10 days after first symptom shows

so at on given time the number of people with the virus is less then half a million. (250 days of virus to get 11m divided by the 10 day cycle)

I don’t believe the number of cases is as high as it is, it’s admitted by the most Corona of Corona-bros that a good number of test are false positives, and unlike high profile people like Nick Saban, those people aren’t re-tested to weed out the false positives.

I would be curious (but evidently not curious enough to research) to know what the daily net gain in population is currently as opposed to what it was pre-covid.

I have hunch that it probably hasn't changed much and that should indicate the crock of shite this panic is....not the virus.....the panic.

Technically having liberals in power would be having a cancer to this country, so in a sense you could say it did go to support cancer research. It was just pro cancer and not fighting against cancer.

I would bet anything that the numbers themselves are very off. Hell hospitals are labeling any death Covid so they can get $.

This whole thing is a bunch of contrived BS.

Friend,

The OT medical board told me there was as much chance of the virus affecting someone I know as being struck by lightning, then that we all should be taking hydroxychloroquine, then that we were close to herd immunity in June, then that masks were a communist plot against our freedom, then that the actual virus didn’t kill anyone and that people were dying of preexisting conditions like pneumonia and respiratory failure, and that public health officials like Dr Fauci and Dr Avegno were evil megalomaniacs . It was all a political plot I read that would disappear after the election. It has been mostly sunshine and clean air here even while some of our most cherished friends died and were maimed. I learned long ago not to trust the OT or PT when it comes to covid.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

The media used it to get mail in ballots they had no plans to verify the accuracy of. It worked.

My first thought is to do like many and change the definitions to suit my need. Heart disease could be considered contagious by environmental circumstances, such as peer behavior. Fatties hanging with fatties.

That was my point. I clearly know that heart disease and cancer are not contagious like a virus but there are other non genetic reasons that are contributing to these conditions. And with that being the case and the untold number of people that die because of it, we should be massively alarmed and we’re not.
