1. Go to the doctor
2. Don’t ask the OT, unless you want dumbass responses

You did the right thing by asking the OT before asking a doctor.. Piss boy.

Besides an enlarged prostate (BPH) …there could be a bladder issue. You definitely need a PSA test and maybe an imaging of your bladder to be sure it’s ok.
My PSA number was a little higher than normal so the urologist had a blood test run on me called a “K test”. It revealed that I have a 10% chance of having the bad / aggressive type of prostate cancer. So… I visit my urologist every six months.
Besides taking finasteride, I also take alfuzosin (which is like flomax). On top of that… my blood pressure med contains a diuretic. So…between the alfuzosin and BP med / diuretic…I make a pee break about every 2 hours when traveling … and I usually get up a couple of times during the night to pee. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to pee to make certain you are completing emptying your bladder.
I’d suggest you visit a urologist ASAP.

The doctor watched my PSA elevate from 3.2-6.4 over the course of 3 years, and attributed the slow rise to my race, age, and the fact that I worked out. It wasn't until I changed urologists, and she noticed my Free PSAs had dropped to "0" that she ordered a biopsy. Ended up with a Gleason score of "8" and stage 2C PC.
If you haven't already, get your PSA/prostate checked.

UTI or bladder infection. Your stomach feel bubbly or have you been passing gas?

A PSA reading does not require a finger up the arse. It can be determined by a simple blood test. Most medical stats show that a male should start getting regular PSA tests when he turns 40. And prostate cancer is hereditary, so have any sons tested starting at 40, as well.Prostate cancer has no real symptoms & can easily be treated if caught early...by a simple blood test.
What "medical stats" are these? Current recommendations do not state that routine testing should begin at age 40. AUA recommends beginning routine screening at age 55 without any family history of prostate cancer.

These "stats" come from my oncologist & my urologist, the former with over 30 + years experience active practice & research. Two of my radiologist therapists said the same thing. Either way, a simple blood test will give you a PSA reading & you can go from there.

You have the symptoms of an enlarged prostate. See a urologist soon. Don’t wait until you have to use a catheter, or diaper.

For frick sakes everything isn't diabetes.
You pee a lot with diabetes, insipidus and mellitus so frequently urinating small amounts is not an indicator.
It could be anything from a UTI, prostate issues, weakened muscles, etc. etc. Get it checked out for sure, but not being able to hold it alone isn't indicating diabetes of any kind.

At least "stats" is in quotes because the actual statistics behind this don't warrant recommending routine screening at those ages. Careful with claiming the recommendations of 4 people as "most medical stats". Sounds more like the practice pattern of a small group of people. The AUA recommendations are generally the most liberal with PSA screening recommendations and they don't recommend routine screening before age 55 without a family history.

It could be a bladder infection.
The same thing happened to me for a day or two and that's what it was.

Thanks !I'll stick with those whose treatment now has me cancer free going on 4+ yrs. You stick with your AUA, that way we'll both be happy. But as for a "small group of people", both belong to two of the largest groups in their specialties in B.R.

I'm not suggesting you do otherwise, and congratulations on being cancer free. I'm only suggesting that you not refer to them as "most medical stats" when they're demonstrably not true, their specialty group size notwithstanding.
