Mexican food is 4 ingredients prepared in many ways, it’s all meat, beans, cheese and tortillas

I've never seen one offered.
There is a Mexican-Southern fusion place in Birmingham (Little Donkey) that has a ridiculously good quesadilla burger.
Better yet, they have a pulled pork, guacamole, cheese, pickled red onion, and pinto bean sandwich served with a smokey tomato broth.

Finding a legit taqueria where all the brown folks go in town is always the best. Tremendous value and tremendous food.

I’ll be in Mexico City in March and have a reservation at Pujol.
I just looked at their current menu and I’ll be damned, not a single sandwich on the entire thing. Crazy, right?

BBQ'd iguana is a gastronomic delight

These rednecks don’t know what real Mexican food is. The most important thing to the fat asses is that the local Tex mex grease and cheese place has free chips and salsa.

well that's not true at all, unless if by "meat" you mean ground beef with store bought taco seasoning.
real mexican food has meat. what they don't use a lot of is cheese

I’m crossing my fingers for the BBQ ants. I know the mole madre will be available which is highest on my list.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Tex Mex. But it’s as close to authentic Mexican food as Diguiorno is to authentic Italian.

Same thing for "Chinese" or "Italian" food here. They are properly Americanized and pretty far from the original cuisines, but they are still pretty damn delicious in their own right.

Not going to get an argument from me on that. I love me some Tex Mex.

They don't serve that at taco Bell.
