He’s funny in the way that women think being hit on by an ugly dude is creepy but a hot dude using the exact same lines is cute and they’re immediately interested. So basically, women think he’s funny because he’s good looking.
The fact that it’s almost solely women that think he’s funny is a testament to him not being very funny IMO. I’ve tried watching clips of him and I’m not sure I’ve seen anything he’s said that has made me laugh.
But he definitely found a niche and was killing it for a while a year or two ago. And I think he’s mastered social media marketing for himself (which also explains why women love him). So good for him I guess.
Long story short, I don’t find him funny at all, but also recognize that I’m nowhere near his target audience.

He's kind of funny, but any comedian at that level is going to have a few good jokes or they wouldn't get Netflix specials.
I watched the crowd work one, and I'm sure the other one at some point. Not awful, not great.
He's good looking sure, but not as amazing looking as he thinks he is.

I saw his crowd work special. It was entertaining. Not crazy good though.

I think he's pretty quick and can pop some zingers when doing crowd work, but that's about it.

His “crowd work” can be funny but I assume that is planned. Girlfriend was all into him so we started watching his Netflix special and turned it off after ten minutes because it wasn’t funny.

this... he's got very quick wit when doing crowd work, but other than that, it's mainly his looks that draws his crowd in the door

Guy here, his crowd work is so good it makes me wonder if it's set up. Never saw his stand up, but I did hear it bombed. But I think he opened with a joke that broke some PC rule so it might have been a good routine he just offended the offendables.

He tried to port his shtick to stage, and it went poorly. He started getting specials because of his internet popularity, with less than good results.
However, he is getting better. Other comics have noted him as a guy who is really putting in the work.
Want to see a truly bad stand up from a famous person? Try and find rapper T.I.'s stand up.
