I was at lunch today sitting at the table next to a guy that wore his mask the entire time, even while eating!!! He would raise the mask up to take a drink from his straw or take a bite of food, but then immediately lower it again

i really don't have a problem with other people doing this. if it's their choice. i don't care if they wear a mask from now til the end of time.

Weird. I haven't been to the Bluebonnet/Jefferson one, but the Corporate and Bluebonnet/Highland one are the two I visit the most. No one there has ever said a word to me about a mask.

Well when i'm talking about was about a year ago, or maybe slightly less than that. I havent' been back to any of them in months, so it's likely changed as most people with a brain aren't enforcing anyone to wear one anymore.

WTF? We haven't had a mask mandate for months where I live and to be honest, it was never even enforced from the beginning. It's amazing to me that people still think these shitty little face coverings do anything to prevent infection. I remember reading studies that showed community masking makes spread worse due to contamination via improper use. Then magically, they changed the conclusions without changing any of the study data to say that they recommend it.

It's all a big fricking sick game to these leaders and we need to be done with it and with them.

People need to grow up and you need to stand up to any idiot that tries to make you do something that doesn't even fricking work.

I stopped going to Izzo's when they forgot how to roll a burrito. The one @ highland and bluebonnet has repeatedly destroyed my burrito.

A) they put too much shite in it.
B) They don't know how to roll them
C) When they rolled my burrito, and the tortilla broke, the obviously stoned worker just slapped another tortilla on the burrito. This happened TWICE. I have since stopped going to Izzo's.

The best thing about this mask mandate is that it made people ignore a lot of stupid nanny laws.

There were two old ladies smoking INSIDE the gas station the other night.

I wanted to give them a standing ovation.

And I happen to thinking smoking indoors is trashy 99.9% of the time.

This is the biggest travesty. We're all saying frick it, and going maskless. Meanwhile, our kids don't have that choice.

I really hate that they make kids wear masks all day long.

That includes kids who got vaccinated!

Meanwhile, LSU football games are mask free. Nuts!

The only place that is requiring them here is costco. Even there once you are in the store they will not tell you anything if you don't have it on.

Yeah i went a couple days ago in Lafayette and they hand you one at the door but it was 50/50 inside. I didn't put mine on (because FTSCS) and no one said anything.

My kid has to wear them at school, and half the time comes back with the wrong mask on.

both the ones on bluebonnet and the one on corporate.
I would call in and order and when i went to pick it up and they'd ask me to put a mask on i'd say no thanks, then they'd say well we aren't going to give you your food, and id say, well i didn't pay for it yet so i guess you'll just throw it away. so they threw it away, or ate it, but i left. That happen twice. Same thing happen at the wingstop on bluebonnet. i guess they threw the food away too.

call me a dumbass all you want, i don't care. I'm not pretending to play this charade with anyone, and there are many other locations that aren't dumbasses that i can get food from. I've never been rude to anyone that's asked me to put a mask on. I simply say no thanks, and if you don't want to let me in, then fine, i'll politely leave and go elsewhere.

Well said.

I felt dumb for ever wearing a mask, and I haven't worn one since March/April. It's a fricking charade, and I will not ever ever ever wear a mask again. Even going places downtown nobody really tells me anything. But those they do, if they don't serve me without a mask, I leave and go somewhere else. Not putting up with their garbage anymore. My life is short and precious. Not gonna be a jackass sheep wearing masks.

Reve, and they didn't say anything but they had a sign outside that said that they requested that you wear a mask, and if you don't have one they have some that you can use.

Which, IMO is fine. I don't really care if a place is requesting that I wear a mask, but if they are, they need to supply them.

I work downtown near the Capitol building and I’d probably say that 70-80% of people I see just walking by themselves outside on the sidewalks in that part of town have masks on. Even when by themselves with no one else around. It’s really bizarre.

that's the main reason why i haven't been back. and it's a shame b/c i used to love Izzo's, but those dumbasses don't know what they are doing most of the time. I might as well go to Taco Bell, same kind of idiots working there, but it's 10x's cheaper.
