Wonder if Mack was who Yeskie was seen with the other night
Yeah, I also noticed how BM casually let it out on the broadcast last night that he ran into Yeskie at dinner hosting a portal recruit.

I’m skeptical of LSU lacking in baseball NIL.
From what little I actually know about the House settlement that just went into effect a few days ago, I don’t think teams can just drop NIL bags on players anymore. Think fans will be playing catch up on how they actually understand and talk about using NIL to build rosters, which is now immediately different than it has been the last few years.

Trailing 11-3 in the 8th inning, Cam Johnson entered the game for Oklahoma and walked 3-straight batters, recording 12 balls and just 2 strikes in 14 pitches. That is all.

How can we ever build a clubhouse culture if there are no upper classmen on the team who are program guys?? Costello had to have been told to look elsewhere because he had the chance to start at 1st next year
Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but a quick look at the roster shows a number of guys who will presumably return for 2026 who would be classified as "program guys" or "homegrown players" as key contributors from 2024 and 2025.
Just listing alphabetically:
Arrambide
Brown
Curiel
Evans
Guidry
Milam
Primeaux
Rizy
Schmidt
Williams
Milam, Brown and Guidry clearly being the upperclassmen from that list. Curiel and Evans might as well be classified as upperclassmen and real team leaders with what they've done already and being certain pro prospects. Arrambide, Schmidt, Rizy and Williams all with nice experience as freshmen this spring.
Skimming some of the comments it seems like some are glossing over the fact that there have been a number of true freshmen who have earned playing time this season. Shouldn't lose sight of that just because a couple other freshmen have hit the portal.
re: Is Louisiana mask mandate over?

I work downtown near the Capitol building and I’d probably say that 70-80% of people I see just walking by themselves outside on the sidewalks in that part of town have masks on. Even when by themselves with no one else around. It’s really bizarre.

Herman not doing us any favors.
Sorry, OP. We are the first team to win in Tuscaloosa in like 5 years (with Tua playing) and scored more points at Bryant-Denny than any visiting team in history.
We don't need any favors at this point.

Are you serious with this? It's effing Utah State.

Thanks guys for the site and the interest! I’ll go through what I have this week and figure out what I want to move and scale down. Check back soon. ??
Selling LSU memorabilia & collectibles?
Posted by FirstRoundPick on 9/24/19 at 4:55 pm
Is there a place on TD that’s best to post about some items I’d like to sell? I’m sure there are collectors in here with some interest.
Just wanted to ask so as to not clog up the Rant with buy/sell/trade type posts. I will edit this to remove my question once I know for sure.

re: Car Service Place That’s Open?
Posted by FirstRoundPick on 9/2/19 at 3:35 pm
Car won’t start. Jumps off fine, but when I take the cables off it goes dead after about 10-20 seconds. Can’t drive it anywhere after I do jump it off, so have to have it towed somewhere for service. Battery light on my console came on as I was driving into my neighborhood. After parking it at my house, I tried to turn it back on but wouldn’t at first. Came back to it later and it did start by itself again. Now needs a jump to get going.
Would obviously seem to be battery/alternator related. Praying it’s just a bad battery. ??

Car Service Place That’s Open?

Is there car service business that’s open today in BR? Have tried places like Chabills, Mavis, etc. with no luck, but figured they would be closed anyway.

Now that we have been eliminated and Auburn is in the Final 4, it wouldn’t hurt to cheer on the Tigers to our east. Let’s support the conference we are in. At least it isn’t Alabama.
Are you nuts? I don't give 2 sh*ts about supporting SEC teams and conference pride and all that crap. No self-respecting LSU fan should. Why should anyone actively cheer for another school's success that would perhaps give them advantages over us moving forward?
They can all die in a fire. Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Georgia and every other fricking SEC team I don't care to spell out.

Probably my most prized autograph items are these in my collection ...
1. Authentic full-sized LSU Football helmet that is signed by more than 50 First-Team All-Americans. Players span every decade from the 1950s through the 2010s. Has to be a one-of-a-kind item!
2. Cal Ripken, Jr. sweet spot signed official MLB American League baseball. I waited for hours in brutal heat before a Rangers/Orioles game in Arlington when I was about 12 or 13 to get it. PC for life!
3. Steve Van Buren signed 1944 LSU Gumbo Yearbook that I bought for $2 at an estate sale after the passing of a former LSU cheerleader from back in the day. Yearbook is is very clearly signed at that time 70+ years ago by Steve Van Buren and many other LSU football players with some writing personal notes to the cheerleader whose Gumbo it was. TWO DOLLARS!
4. Mike Schmidt model Louisville Slugger bat signed by LSU's entire 1997 national championship baseball team that I got over the course of several games when I was 14.
