Is Louisiana mask mandate over?

Yep, it worked so good it’s no longer needed.

I stood behind a fruit loop ordering lunch earlier with a face mask and rubber gloves. It was certain this person was not sure which gender he/ she identified as on this day.

I only see it respected in 2 places.

1 is my kids school

2 is the hipster coffee shop

All businesses have the signs up but nobody enforces except maybe Costco

The only place I've worn a mask in months is when taking an Uber ride, because they still require them.

Otherwise, it seems mostly to be left up to personal choice, as it should be IMO.

Was there one really? First go round, several BR stores asked me don a scarf (Denham got all my grocery money during that time frame). No one at the office (and none of us ever worked from home) ever wore won other than the boss for a few days while he was waiting on his own covid test results.

Since the latest request, in the BR area, have been to the bank, post office, Starbucks, Walgreens, several restaurants, movie theater, and shopping at a variety of stores from big box to local. In all those outings, one Walmart greeter asked if I wanted one, but was cool with my no thanks.

So other than the kids being abused, has there really been one? Just like the war on drugs, JUST SAY NO.

Still haven't ever gone back to a few restaurants over the mandate. It's one thing to play along with the game, it's another thing to enforce proper masks and how to wear it.

Correct what pisses me off is the businesses who enforce it because there license will get revoked because they arent enforcing the mask mandate
