Media would have you believe LA is a bunch of alligator hunting, crawfish catching, underwater log hunting misfits who found themselves in a hilarious situational comedy together and decided to call it Louisiana.

For most outdoor males that live a little North of I-10 in LA, Duck Dynasty was a pretty accurate portrayal of LA life.

Did I say that?

If I am critical of the ideas perpetuated in that cess pool, that makes me a "leftist"?

You Politards are more simple than I thought.

Nothing screams sophistication like broad generalities. Congrats on not being simple.

Yes, you're implication wasn't at all that the poli board is heavy right (which it is).

But I'm sure your intellect is just beyond measure for us simpletons.

I recall plenty of left leaning folks mocking the poli board for being so "out of touch" and "delusional" for thinking Trump had any shot in hell at winning. They were absent for awhile in November.

In some places absolutely, in others, not even close.

However, sometimes, LA is more like tv than reality. For example, my dad once cut his grass and found, no kidding, an El Camino. A friend once had their cat eaten by a gator. Another used to live on a house boat. I once road a party barge from Belle River to Morgan City. Tarzan was filmed here. The Water Boy's daddy is the sitting governor. One of the Geist brothers from Swamp People helped build the stairs at my brother's house. Troy Landry's first cousin is attorney general. And a complete coonass is a U.S. Congressman on the outer space subcommittee.

I have done some pipeline work for Troy Landry's brother. He works for Enterprise.

Yes, the whole state of Louisiana is like the movie waterboy.

There are a few areas in which you can find a "stereotypical" Louisianian, but live in the backwoods of some small town and when I say stereotypical Louisianian, I am talking about true cajuns who have a strong cajun accent who still speaks cajun french, but they are older people.

I didn't know New Orleans was known as a place filled with trannies, but they do have a place on Bourbon St called Oz.. That has a few.

Does anyone really go to Bourbon Street to party after a big win?

After the Saints' Super Bowl win we did. Look for the videos.

Culture is where you find it. People self select, vote with their feet.

La is no more a TV reality show than CNN is legitimate.

Neighbors, neighborhoods, districts counties, regions, states are all represent people who self select.

Until a Govt program comes to your doorstep.

Nevermind, America was great while it lasted.

What's a TV?

Is movie short for moving picture? Those are cool.
