Always thought linkedin was just a set up and forget about kinda thing. People actually use it as social media?

Brigette Hyacinth is the worst. She's constantly posting long stories like that, nearly every day, almost all of which are quite clearly fake. Yet every one of her posts gets thousands of likes for some reason.

You should be ashamed.

Only “entrepreneurs” and HR chicks use LinkedIn as a “social media” platform. Everyone else just has a profile just because you need to when looking for a job

It's turned into Facebook. I've noticed a proliferation of "I got pregnant at 16 and now I'm graduating college" posts lately.

Congrats!

That happens to a lot of us.

I also love the "people don't leave companies, they leave bosses" memes. No, I'm pretty sure I left my last job because the company sucked. My boss was awesome.

I think it’s cool to see what professionals and companies are doing, but I couldn’t care less about all the personal bullshite. Save that crap for your diary. It’s supposed to be a tool for careers.

I knew it was in the toilet when someone posted about a terrific vinaigrette dressing recipe she had and was willing to share it with everyone interested. That was the end for me.

What I find funny is that on the rare occasion that I get on there and look at the notifications, many are recommendations to "congratulate" somebody on 12 years at Acme Manufacturing LLC.

Who the hell wants to be reminded of that?

"Hey, let's celebrate the corporate workplace and identify ourselves by our corporate identity."

"Cubicles are fun! Congrats!"

F*ck that, man.

Give me the damn lottery.

After that, the workplace can kiss my white arse.

I like my job and make good money but I'd retire tomorrow if I had 5 million in the bank

VP of global solutions I’m convinced when it’s a vague title like that, the people that hold those jobs do absolutely fricking nothing. I like (head of sales) in parentheses. You’re a fricking salesman dude.
