Is it unprofessional to sleep at your desk (before you start)?

They come in 30 minutes early or so, and crash in their cubicle, slumped over their desk...and do this regularly.

This might be a dumb question, but how are they at their job once they are actually awake and on the clock?

Seriously you have to admire someone that gets there early.
Now you need to figure out what micromanager won’t let em clock in and go to work
If there is nothing for them to do till 8 and they are on the clock then they aren’t professionals and the behavior shouldn’t bother anyone

Lots of people leave for work early here to beat traffic. Otherwise it’s horrible. Depends on the work place about it being unprofessional
