It’s actually a made up thing that they tried to establish a year ago when trump called covid the China virus, as if it were the first time a country of origin had been attached to a disease or virus

And now that Kamela has been pretty much laughed at for claiming unity with U.S. black people, I think part of the narrative is to boost up her "Asian" bona fides.

You won't vote for Kamela because you hate Asians.

Because all 4 1/2 billion Asians are the same no matter where they come from.

Chinatown here is pretty insular but a really great place to walk around and grab food. I’ve never heard of or witnessed Asian hate here, but not being Asian American I’m not going to say it is or isn’t a thing.

It's the China virus not Chinese virus. I have zero problem with chinese people or their delicious food but their government can get fricked.

I’ve honestly not seen it. I think the intent of this message is conflate hatred for China’s government with hatred of all Asians so China can avoid scrutiny for being a horrible citizen of the world.

To be clear, the CCP can go frick themselves. That’s my opinion and many share it. It’s not the same of being anti-Asian or even Anti-Chinese. But you’d have to be blind to actually think China didn’t absolutely frick over all of their closest allies in the past 18 months.

Another trend that this “stop Asian hate” message is trying to address: Asian Americans voted for Trump at a higher clip in 2020 than in 2016.

I'm not sure...... I've never witnessed it here in south louisiana. I have a Vietnamese wife (no pics), only racist thing i think has happened to her is creepy rednecks following her around Bass Pro or Walmart cause they have a asian fetish.

Now her mother (no pics) on the other hand lives in California, I tell you one thing, after watching that beating that woman took in NY. I"m scared for her. Also my two brother-in-laws. Scary.
Stay strapped my friends.

I’ll go ahead and clue you in. It’s not a thing. Just like systematic racism of whites against blacks isn’t a thing, and cops killing innocent blacks isn’t a thing. It’s all fabricated

I went to school with people who were first generation Vietnamese. Great people. I have admiration for them. The people who attack them can't compete with their work ethic and blame them for their own failures.

Asian hate is the bastard child of sick propagandists and stupid people who take it seriously.

I love a good anecdote as much as the next guy, and I know nothing of this incident. Having said that, if that is your bar, why are we not outraged at the white hate by blacks? And why does it not dominate the headlines?

I'm half Japanese and Half north Alabama redneck. Honestly never felt discriminated or hated against because of my Asian-ness. I've been called derogatory Asian slang terms before but I've always attributed that to the person being an a-hole not necessarily because they were inherently racist against Asians. Someone asked me a long time ago what is was like being in a mixed race marriage (I married a cracker arse cracker). Until that point I honestly never gave it a thought or even considered our marriage a mixed race. Maybe it was because I grew up in a mixed race household it just seemed normal.

I'm not the one who made this post. Was just making a statement. And how do you know that I'm not outraged about white hate on black...... or black hate on whites...... or black on black..... or white on white.....
should i keep going???
when it boils down there is hate everywhere, but saying that something is a media fabrication when I watched (on video) an asian woman get brutally punched and kicked is a hard pill to swallow for me.
