No.

Asians are probably the most admired ethnic group, particularly among conservatives.

This is primarily because they debunk every narrative for why minority groups cannot succeed in the US. Based on ethnicity alone, most Americans would probably choose increased immigration from Asians over every other ethnic group.

My father was a Marine who fought the Japanese in WWII for three years. He never preferred to buy anything made in Japan. But he said more than once he did not hold it against the Japanese soldier he fought because they were doing what they were told. Their atrocities of course didn't sit well with him. We were never taught to hate anyone, certainly not Asians.

We had a handful of Asian kids in school, all who were friends, their father having married a Japanese woman during the occupation.

Today actually, I was sitting around my redneck pals at lunch, watching news, and this crap came up. To a man, none of us had ever seen or heard of Asian hatred and agreed that all this you seen on TV seems to be coming from one group................you guess who.

Why on earth would one "oppressed" group hate another "oppressed" group???
