But it seems like for months the promoters have been spamming my inbox hawking tickets for this thing.
I have grown weary of the radio ad for it that they play during LSU baseball and softball games. Can't wait for it to be over for that reason alone.

Yep. Going with my spouse and oldest kid.
You can borrow my backward cowboy hat

I think more people under 40 care about Zach Bryan than they do Garth Brooks.

Yep. Going with my spouse and oldest kid. If only I could find the perfect cowboy hat to wear backwards.

Noice.
Yo SuperSaint. I’ll have to dig up that pic later.

Is this the guy that wears the Amish looking hat on the NCAA Tournament commercials?

I got a pair of tickets for some friends of mine who are fans, but I am not going.

Dumb take. I have work boots that are dirty as hell, and nicer boots I wear out sometimes that are clean and look new. I’d wear my nice boots to this, if I were going.

I'd go if I could. I saw him in the super dome and it was a good show. Down vote away losers.

Could be true but it doesn’t look like they are buying tickets...

I'm into folk, Americana, red dirt, Texas country, etc - whatever you choose to call it. Never really gotten into him. Every song ive heard of his is depressing. Surely he's got some more upbeat stuff but theres only so much slow country angst songs I can take.
Now one of the openers, Caamp, is pretty good. For those going.

Yep, we will be there. Should be a fun weekend.

Nope. House full of country music fans and no one wants to go.
We will be going see Flatland Cavalry at the Texas Club on March 20 though!

Yes. I'm not the biggest Zach Bryan fan, but I know enough of his songs. Kids are excited to go, and I'm excited for them. Just hoping the weather won't be an issue.
He puts on a good show. Though I prefer a smaller venue concert or music festival over the bro country crowd. He's not bro country but that's going tp be the entire crowd. White boots everywhere.
The opening act Caamp is a great band though. They'd be worth going to see in themselves.

I took my daughter to see him this past weekend in Tampa (it was her Xmas present). I tried to listen to him prior so I wouldnt be 100% lost, but like you, felt like almost every song was depressing as hell.
Fast forward to the show....1) Caamp was very good although at one point I realized the lead singer looks like Macaulay Culkin with Tom Selleck's hair and moustache and couldnt unsee it. 2) Raymond James was packed full of people 3) It seems like he increases his tempo a tad on all his songs live, which made it more palatable 4) Dude has a full freaking band behind him, I am talking multiple cellos, violin, fiddle, trumpets, you name it. 5) I had zero knowledge of the whole Homeland security stuff going in, but he seemed to have the common sense not to push that hard, he made a quick comment and then played the song. While not my cup of tea, it was definitely a spectacle and a fun time. I would see him again if someone offered me a ticket.
I did laugh at one point, during one of the mini breaks the various string musicians played the Godfather theme. I knew that 75% of the folks in attendence had never heard that before. The oldes like me in the crowd all were nodding our heads.
