Personality for sure. I made more friends working shitty warehouse jobs than anywhere else. I’m sure the IQ range at those jobs was fairly large.

I’m going to see 80 iq and off myself. No thanks.

…isn’t 100 the average?
Isn’t that how IQ works?

Sounds like somebody struck a nerve, good luck working through your insecurities on the topic.

Definitely work ethic, communication and attitude over intellect/raw ability.
Communication is probably the most underrated IMO. "He/she's a straightshooter" has become one of the highest compliments I pay to someone.

Low-IQ people spend their time consuming Insta-THOTs, the latest TikTok craze, and OnlyFans. They don't have the time or intellectual bandwidth left for anything productive.

Gotta be at least a hundo. Maybe 2.

I imagine there is a lower limit for IQ in this context, but if we're talking about someone with an average IQ and a great disposition and work ethic, or an a-hole 10 points higher than average, I'm choosing the former.
I would not want to work with someone with an 80-90 IQ no matter how amazing they are as a person.

Emotional intelligence is just as important, at least in many business/professional settings.
There are a lot of very smart people with MBAs and PhDs who never advance much due to lack of social skills, worrying about petty things, and just not working well with others.

Unless you’re in the business of curing cancer, hire the person that will most likely blend in personality wise. It will save you a huge headache from a day to day management standpoint.

Jesus, are you always this obtuse? Let me know if I need to define that for you, I’m here to help.

You’re assuming a PhD means someone is highly intelligent, when it really just means they went to school a lot
There were two professors I met at LSU who were intellectual giants. Both taught electives.

Cecil Eubanks and Harry Mokeba. Could not be more different.
Mokeba started a horizontal tree diagram at the top left corner of the board and filled the entire board tiny bubbles with information comparing and contrasting the cultural and economic differences between the US, Cameroon, and Germany. And ended with a country in each corner. The vacant left corner... Everyone assumed would be a eutopic country blending the ideals of all three.
...he then pointed out the pursuit of that corner always leads to an insane dictator.
If there was a plant pipe designer in there... He would have been impressed just by the drawing

Tell me about it.
I don't know if a lack of intelligence breeds the lack of intellectual effort in people, or the other way around, but it can be exhausting. "If you go back and look at page 10, you'll see what you're worried about is explicitly out of scope," says me, for the 38th time on a project. Just f!@*%$ READ.
Those people are like many of the people on the OT.

You wouldn't even notice the difference with only 10 IQ points.
Someone would have to be either a genius or a turnip for anyone to notice from daily interactions.

While indeed exhausting, that's not lack of intelligence, that is intellectual laziness. Now if they did indeed read page 10 and couldn't comprehend what they read, they are just a waterhead. Or a realtor at closing.

personality
work ethic
self-initiative
generally, will get you further than a few IQ points.
