I’ve got a model 880 (I think?) and it’s made for pets. I couldn’t live without it. I dump and entire tray of dog hair every day. It’s actually pretty disgusting.
I’d still own one if I didn’t have a dog and cat, though. I’m single and hate vacuuming

They are loud, bang into everything and get stuck on anything on the floor. I personally hate it, but my wife still runs it once a day because she is a neat freak.
We have one of the cordless stick vacuum's from Dyson, and I really like that for dog hair.

I don’t have inside pets but I do have a bunch of little Tasmanian devils that wreak havoc on the floors. My sister has a roomba and swears by it. I’m positive if I bought one on Monday I’d find it at the back door Tuesday with its shite packed trying to leave.

Get a neato. They work better and are cheaper
I like my Neato whenever it is working and it's great for getting up all of my dog's hair.
However, I had to send 2 back while under warranty (Neato sent brand new ones as replacements) and my 3rd just quit working after about 3 years. Turnaround time for repair is a long time as mine's been gone for 3 weeks and still no status update.

Or you could just not own dogs or own a breed of dog that doesn’t shed, other simpler alternatives...

I'm OCD about clean floors, have tried two, wasn't happy with them. I'll just take my hour cleaning the floors like a mad man and picking up everything to get under, added benefit is good exercise.

I have a full staff of maids, yard boys, chefs and butlers to tend to my home needs at my 10,000 sq ft estate so I have no need for the robot

Wife unit has a Roomba.
I am in charge of it's maintenance, the sum total of which has consisted of cleaning the dirt tray, collection area, and wheels (OweO? NO!) thoroughly about every tenth cleaning cycle.
Ours is the top of the line model at the time we got it, it does not get hung up but she does have to move a few pieces of furniture around to keep doors open when she runs it.
She says she's very happy with it.
I believe her because I know what that feels like.

Not completely false. I don’t think ours has ever yet made it through the house without getting stuck more than once. Nothing smart about the iRobot.

Stay away. It’s a maintenance nightmare.

Buy yourself a nice Dyson Cyclone cordless with a few accessories.
Meh. Dyson is overpriced and overrated. Maybe 10-15 years ago it was worth the cost, but now it is not. As soon as their "proprietary revolutionary design" was figured out or they released the patent, they started value engineering the shite out of it. Now, their motors are actually off-the-shelf parts that you and I can buy. Dyson is nowhere near what it used to be. There are other brands that are just as good, or even better, for a much better price. Hell, I have a Shark that has been abused for years now, and short of somehow sucking up a little pencil sharpener and causing it to go into shutdown for an hour, I've never had a problem.

I got a Roborock and it’s been solid. Bought on BF...one of the higher end models.

I got the S6 and it's awesome. Camera on it to help avoid obstacles is great. OP needs one with mapping and no-go zones. That avoids them getting stuck.
ETA - make sure it maps with lidar.
