Those 3 look incridbly stupid in a line like that with .22's. For one it's looks dangerous to be that close to someone shooting, and B, the hot cartridge is goign to shoot out onto the person in front on the right.

I'd pew pew some just for fun but I wouldn't eat them.

I would skin them and feed them to my cats though. My cats love when I give them skinned squirrels for dinner.

Yeah, just shoot them for the fun of it. You are helping to save the Louisiana marsh. The bonus is protein for your pets.

It's decent meat. I agree they need to change the name and marketing.

How about: Chicken of the Marsh?

Wasn't there a nutria who was basically the board's pet for a while, until his untimely passing a few years ago?

Are you suggesting that all male nutria be hunted down and neutered?

I always thought should give it a table name that’s more appetizing. As you noted, the meat is similar to rabbit and quite tasty. I thought “lowland hare” would be a good way to market it.

Maybe 'water hare".

Nutria, squirrel, rabbit, racoon, duck, etc cooked down an onion gravy are all very similar. However I had some bad fried nutria and can't eat that shite. I prefer rabbit.

Crawfish used to be poor people food and look what some creative marketing did. Maybe it will work for nutria.
