This is why I wonder how liberals can honestly support putting government/bureaucrats in charge of every facet of society.

I think folks would be pissed off if this story was turned around and some kid shot another at school and , after the fact , the school found photos or whatever on line. The punishment may not seem to fit the crime here but look at history. I'm impressed that the school caught it to be honest. Unfortunately these are the days we live in now. I'm torn on what to think about this story.

Then you're an idiot...........which, I guess fortunately means, you're qualified to be a school principal.

Only because of plaintiff lawyers and retarded judges. What rural 13 year-old boy has never done any of the following:
Played with water guns
Nerf guns
Gone hunting
Shot his friend with a pellet gun
Played paintball
Played war in the backyard with friends

The fact that this line of thinking isn't laughed at and berated is why this world is in the shape it's in.

Whole situation sounds trashy. Glad the school isn't taking any chances.

Our education system from middle school through college has ceased to be anything more than idiot factories churning out politically indoctrinated dolts.

My 12 year old with his own money built out a tacti-cool 10/22..... laser sights, foregrip, folding stock, 25 round mag..... he put a couple pics of it instagram and got quite a few likes and didn't get in trouble with the school, if he did daddy wouldn't be to happy.

This.

Why in God's green earth is a principal trying to dictate speech OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL?

I am guessing you haven't run into the absurdity that is the vast majority of public school principals.

I know this is absurd but the parents should call a press conference and ask the question as to why are the administration of this school stalking their child's social media? Are they pedophiles trolling for children?

For every good principal, there is another who is nothing more than a petty tyrant of his own pathetic kingdom. (Looking at you Alexander).

Why exactly?

Kids playing with toy guns? The HORROR!

Unless he's going around threatening people with it pretending it's real there's nothing there at all.

Good question. Why is this school official disciplining students for something outside of school?

Hunting with a pellet pistol? While I think it's an overreaction by the school district and their arse needs to be sued, the parent claiming he was possibly "ready" to go hunting is full of shite.

You never plinked birds with a pellet gun when you were a kid?
