Yep. This was definitely expected
quote:

the infant and perinatal mortality rates were 6.2 deaths per 1,000 births in abortion-restriction states, compared with 4.8 per 1,000 in abortion-access states.

From what to what?

Is that 3% rise a rise of 1% to 4% mortality rate, or is it 1 death per every some number to 1.03 per every some number?

Pop science articles are notorious for reporting statistics in a way the helps to make whatever point they are trying to make.

The rate increased from 5.44 infant deaths for every 1,000 births to 5.6 in 2022. While that is considered statistically significant, it doesn't seem as bad when stated that way.

If you've been steadily declining for 20 years, any increase will be the largest spike 2003 we were at 6.85 deaths per 100k. Pretty impressive given how much unhealthier humans have become.

It should also be expected that the number of people on welfare and SNAP benefits will skyrocket over the next 5 to 10 years.
I said this when abortion was banned and got blasted. While I think abortion is immoral, there is going to be some serious negative consequences for banning it.

Don't forget about the increase in violent crime!

In about 2 decades people will realize what a huge mistake they made banning abortions. But at least it made them feel good.

A look at the demographics for 2021 is kind of staggering. This is deaths per 1000 live births.

quote:

In 2021, infant mortality rates by race and ethnicity were as follows:

Non-Hispanic Black: 10.6
Non-Hispanic Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander: 7.8
Non-Hispanic American Indian/Alaska Native: 7.5
Hispanic: 4.8
Non-Hispanic white: 4.4
Non-Hispanic Asian: 3.7

That is not what the professor explained in the video you linked. He did explain that DNA contamination was found in the vaccines. His concern was that it could be integrated into the human genome and he stated that testing should be done to see if this is happening.

Just trying to keep the facts straight. LINK

This theory would be easy to corroborate if you care about being accurate.

Yea. Though most of them will now be born and survive. Net positive of life.

Louisiana which has always had a high rate has also gone up even after the state told us by putting all these people on Medicaid it was going to reduce it.

It's just to avoid a person being counted twice. If you are Hispanic you could also be white, black, or American Indian (and I guess Hawaiian or South Pacific Islander, though those last two seem odd).

From what I can gather, Hispanic refers to a person with ancestry from a country whose primary language is Spanish.

I guess, technically, I could say I am Hispanic since some of my ancestors are from the Canary Islands.

I just go with white, though.
