There’s a bunch of Pajeet tax breaks on tax forms. You gotta read the fine print.

It only are all the gas stations in my hometown owned by Indians, they’re all owned by the same Indian family. They’ll sell one to this brother, then sell another to another brother. But it all stays in the family.

I paid $4.50 for a bag of Bugles this weekend. I had Boursin cheese in the truck cooler. Paired well with the finger-hats.

They make it pretty easy to know what gas stations to avoid. You know it’s an Indian gas station when they show you the cash and credit price on the sign out front.

Truth.
Pay attention to how many don't have their fuel prices posted on a sign, even though by law they're supposed to.
This is a failure of Mike Strain and the LA. Department of Agriculture...

From a quora comment:

quote:

Indian immigrants don't pay taxes on “investment income" in the United States per article 21 of the united states-india tax treaty(1989). The intended purpose was to prevent double taxation, but the taxation system in india isn't very good, they don't have high taxes, and most indians that are US residents don't pay them at all. The “no taxes for 7 years" stems from this. I think the actual number of years they qualify is 8 though which is when they lose the tax exempt status. Coincidentally indians take advantage of this all the time. If you've ever wondered why they own so many gas stations and motels that's why. They'll move here and another indian family will transfer ownership to them so they can take advantage of this tax break forever. Coincidentally that's also why the people who own these businesses often have broken english.

They do this with motels and gas stations.

Circle K is not Indian owned as far as I know and they are doing this in my area now. 10 cents off if you pay cash. At the Indian gas station near me it is 30 cents off

I actually do go to that Indian gas station. The dudes are nice and seem slightly more Americanized… in fact I thought they were just Mexicans until I caught them playing Hindu music one time lol.

They are also absolute garbage at customer service. Some of them are fine but at many of them the cashiers are talking on the phone in their bullshite lamalamala tongue with earbuds in and don’t even acknowledge the customers

This is how they get the tax breaks.

Technically I was wrong and the government isn’t “paying them”.

But it was actually an Indian who told me about this tax break. It is legit.

The things they charge for have prices posted. The stuff without pricing is free.

You are a fool if you go to Indian owned gas stations. Go to a chain like Circle K or something similar. Indian owned gas stations will not be a larger or full service convenience store where you can buy other stuff. Up here the gas stations are corporate or chains. No Indians to buy gas from.

What about people who are traveling and want to, you know, get gas and perhaps some refreshments?
