To be fair, very few true start homes are being built. I think the newest generations are open to innovative housing options, but I guess developers must feel there isn't enough money in it or they aren't able to build such homes due to zoning/covenant restrictions.

There are ~ 7 million able bodied men in the US that are not looking to work. I’m positive there are plenty jobs available, most are just too lazy to apply themselves and get after it.

You can come up with hundreds of reasons a small % of specific people have less or no kids.
The main one, post industrial revolution is economic.
Bottom line is that if basic costs of living compared to salaries -- most notably health care that forces many mothers to work because husband's job does have sufficient family health benefits -- were more in line with the 60s-70s then a lmuch higher percentage of people would have more kids.
A better discussion is who it really benefits if the population is constantly growing? Sure makes our economy seem like a Ponzi scheme.

Exactly. And that data suggests that economic factors are the most significant correlation to steeper drops in birth rate in a post industrial revolution society.
Such as the difference in birth rates in the 60s and 70s when wages and health care benefits meant more women could stay at home saw higher birth rates post 80s when factories slashed benefits etc...
