Personally I think young people do a poor job of managing money
Too many $8 coffee daily
Too much streaming services
Too much Uber Eats

Most new parents feel this way and they always figure it out. Typically, your priorities change along with your lifestyle which offsets the cost increase. Congrats on the new born! It will be the best thing that ever happened to you!

You are getting downvoted, but there is a lot of truth in what you say. They are used to spending amounts of money on unnecessary things that is imprinted on their brains. You see it all over, every day.

Why do the poorest third world countries have way more children than the highest standard of living country in history?
It's not muh "the other party's policies." That's a fricking lie. It's all countries going first world that drop birth rate. It's a refocusing on materialism and comfort, self-prioritization and devaluing of others and especially children.
