You have to have a Masters to practice as a therapist. 5 of my 15 coworkers have been on maternity leave this year due to having kids. They’re all in their late 20s.

I know. The women I’m referring to are all PTs, OTs, and speech therapists. Many have clinical doctorates. Every one that has had kids in the last 5 years have been in their early to mid 30s.

We should absolutely incentivize ipper middle class to upper class people having kids
At least 10k tax write off for every kid if you make over 100k

Just remembered. I had 3 kids before I purchased my first home. I was 27-28 I think.

It should be a 25% reduction in tax burden per child with a max of 100% at 4 children.
Only applicable if you receive zero welfare/subsidies.

Things are not “affordable” because the government is dumping money into entitlement programs. When money is taken from earners and given to leeches for a zero contribution, prices on goods and services increase.

I agree with everything you posted. I also think widespread and accessible contraception is a major reason. Before around the 1960s women had children when nature happened. People are now prioritizing other things over children. It’s not a mystery.
