Get it, guys!
Everyone likes to see overpaid shitlibs get a taste of reality.
And twitter employees were evidently vastly overpaid for little to no work.

I'm fairly certain none of that is actually coming from Musk.
He also said this about the problem

Programmers are a dime a dozen. There is an entire subcontinent of indians that could do the job.
Only projects take 2-3 times as long, the functionality is often lacking, and the language barrier is usually a huge obstacle.

It's clear from Eric's twitter page that he was hoping to be fired. He even retweeting new job opportunities being offered to him. Maybe he had a non-compete clause in his contract if he were to quit and Elon just helped him out.

Oh, I don't post on Twitter, nor do I gargle anyone's nuts. I leave that to you folks on the left. I was banned from Twitter when your ilk was in charge because I pointed out that BLM killed a black cop in BR.
I know it hurts that one of the censor machines you have isn't going to be doing this any longer. No worries, you still have Facebook and MSM working hard to censor those you hate.

No one who suggests Indian outsourcing as a viable threat to “every” programmer has ever worked with foreign based programmers. It’s mostly baws who probably work blue collar jobs.

Eric was just looking to get fired honestly
From his post history this is the right answer.
This is exactly what this guy wanted. Will probably result in a better opportunity for him.

Better? Amazon, Meta, etc a lot of tech isn’t doing so hot right now. You may be right.
I don’t now why Elon would have said ‘fired’ though. It’s douchy from a ceo standpoint but just from a legal standpoint would make a lot more sense if he was specifically asked to just say ‘Eric no longer works at Twitter”.
Given that, my guess is Elon knew his bio and had his work history at Twitter before he ever publically responded.

It's a very public hostile takeover where the new boss is insulting employees and previous management publicly and relentlessly (unheard of). I bet few companies in the world are judging any ex-employee of Twitter based on this particular circumstance. He’s probably about to get a raise and all the benefits back that Musk is stripping away.

Tech layoffs haven't been at this level since the dot com bust in 2001. That isn't me just saying this but rather a statistical fact.

It's not a matter of sucking up to Musk. The fact that the hard left & liberals in general hate him is all I need to like him. Then I read up on his take on A.I.'s ( Artificial Intelligence) & I respect him a lot.

This.
It isn't that the right can't do the job...it's that the tech industry tries to only hire their own.
