I took some police exams in the 90s. They were very easy. The ATC test was hard.

I can think of a couple of very plausible, non discriminatory explanations for the statistically significant differences:
1) Black people applying to be MDSP were statistically significantly less academically prepared for the test, because many of them likely went to public schools in greater Baltimore or greater DC.
2) Women applying to be MDSP were statistically significantly less strong, because women in general are statistically significantly less strong than men.

One component of Critical race theory postulates that if the outcomes are unequal, then the baseline has to be changed until those outcomes are achieved. There’s no such thing as an equal playing field.

Fitness and written tests for employment are by their very nature, discriminatory. They discriminate against unfit and below average intelligent people, as they should. THAT'S THE POINT!

and in another universe, wife was denied disability Status ten years ago at aged 65 for US FED disability because she, quote the fed, she was too disabled to qualify for disability. You have to work 8 quarter before claiming disability. At age 3 months she had polio that rendered both legs without muscles which prevented her from working the 8 quarters.
Today she is denied a tax credit because her hearing at 15 % of normal does not qualify since we earn 5 thousand dollars taxable income.
